Default New guitars. What do ya like?

Hey guys. Iv'e got the jones to pick up something new, and wondering if there has been anything any of you have picked up that you really dig. Iv'e been looking at the new Brian May Red Special. Very distinct guitar and may be a bit restrictive in some ways but a buddy of mine just got one stateside and he says he can't put it down. Reasonably priced Around $700 bones and has the same tone cavities, and pickups May uses along with his switching system. Only detracter is the Fender style Trem instead of his own design, but the cost would be pretty high I'm sure. I dunno. I usually build my own, but it might be nice to try someone elses design for a change. any thoughts on this guitar or anything else for that matter would be appreciated.
Hope everyones doin' great by the way!

I'd like to take a look at the new (not old) Charvel USA San Dimas series guitars.

I really like the Fender American Deluxe Strats. It's got the humbucker, S1 Switching system, and the newer bridge with the LSR roller nut.... Not a pain in the ass like a Floyd is (much better tone too).

I also really like the Peavey HP Carved Tops, very cool looking and really comfortable to play.

It just depends on what tone and "vibe" you're going for I guess...

They don't fit me well, but when it comes to production guitars I think Paul Reed Smiths are the best USA-made guitars today. And their newer-ish single cut versions kick the shit out of any Les Paul.

As for quality and craftsmanship, I would definately agree.
However, I've owned a singlecut (and a singlecut trem) and really didn't care for the electronics or the tone. I tried just about every combination of pickups I could get my hands on and still, the guitar sounded thin and lifeless to my ears.

His son, Michael, installed a Warmoth replacement neck on my tele and did a phenomenal job. Best set-up ever!

Back to the initial question. I just picked up an ESP EC 1000 that i absolutely love. I wanted a Les Paul, but I couldn't find one with a neck that I liked - most were too chunky - and they all had QC issues. Then I tried the ESP and was blown away at what i could get for a fraction of the cost.

if im honest and trying not to sound like a dick the only guitar(s) im remotely interested in right now is the new wolfgang (even though i probably wont buy one) and the spear gladius sp (mainly coz ive just ordered one) its a very well spec'd guitar and costs a fraction of what you'd expect (ofr, 5 piece through neck, mahogonay body with open pore spalt maple top) best part of all it only cost £299!!! i'm expecting to change the pups but thats hardly a major job. yes im cheap, but with those materials (along with all the reviews ive read) i think its a good buy.

Lots may disagree, but I love and have always loved Carvin Guitars. Amps seem to be hit and miss, but their guitars are top notch. I especially like the bolt on models.

As a matter of fact I have two being built right now.
