    Quebec City, July 3rd 2008

Well, I'll be damned!!! VH is going to play in my town this summer!

    Festival d'été de Québec

Does this mean there are gonna be more summer festival gigs coming up? If not, don't miss this! The Plaines d'Abraham in Quebec City is a fantastic site for outdoor concerts!

    This is great news!

That's pretty damn sweet!! I turn 30 years old on July 3, 2008. My wife wouldn't agree to let me cross the international dateline flying to Austrailia ala Diamond Dave on his 30th (therefore, never actually turning 30). A trip to Quebec would sure be a nice present! Nah, I've kissed enough ass to pull off 2 five stars on this last tour. Damn, have fun Quebec. You'll like it.

I saw this on Robert Yager's myspace, he's Dave's personal photographer:

Today David Lee Roth took the controls of the helicopter to lift us off the runway in Philly. An excelent pilot and indeed seems to be good at everything he does. We cruised up the Delaware and did a loop around the Statue of Liberty. Up the west side of Manhatten, with a stunning view. We then crossed Central Park, then right over La Guardia. Cruised around viewing many water-side mansions from a thousand feet. Along to Connecticut we landed in New London with plenty of time to relax and wait for the tour bus to arrive with the luggage. Next gig is tomorrow, a mile from our hotel.

    Way to go Dave

We saw them in Montreal back in November and people in Quebec know how to party!

Could a Toronto show (would be the 4th time) be announced for July as previously mentioned?

I’ve got tons of music written, such a variety of stuff… Actually, next week or the week after, Wolfie, Alex, and I are gonna start jamming. Maybe we’ll give Dave a call and see what he’s up to.” - Edward Van Halen ~ 2009
