I'm gonna be in Myrtle when this opens... wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles, but can't seem to find a "just go see the show price", and have a hunch I wouldn't pay it

The idea seems pretty cool. I think I'll wait a couple of years for it to really develop.

    "Bottoms Up" (upside down rollercoaster)
"Mean Street" (think "Men In Black" ride at Universal)
    "Jump" (a bungee-esque ride)
"And The Cradle Will Rock..." (like one of those big pirate ship swing back and forth thingies)
"Panama" (swing across a stage in a harness while you drink beer...oh, wait, maybe not...)

    here are my photos.

my wife and i has season passes to this park. we have already been twice.
its pretty fun. better if you have kids. there is all kinds of cool little touches that have added to this park that you may miss. led zepplin is by far the hilight of the park. i have wondered my self how cool it would have been to be a van halen themed coaster. while waiting in line for the coaster you enter a room to watch a led zep video. when the concert part of video comes on and the whole room turns into a stadium. you are encircled by silouetts of concert goers. you see flash bulbs going off, and when the song slows down, you see lighters flicker all around you. then the doors open and you hop on the ride. really, really well put together. i actually cannot wait to go back.
they have yet to open a new coaster, maximum rpm. its the first coaster in the world with a lift like this. a ferris wheel type lift. little mini cooper ride cars too. should be a cool ride. page 7, photo 1 shows what is going to be like.

the food is really good there. i have heard that there is a bbq place that is great. i have yet to try yet but will next time. its not a bad price for food either, plus season pass holder get 10% off every purchase, so we get better deals.

also the nightly firework show set to boehemian rhapsody is supposed to be phenomenal. i have seen video of but not live in person. it does look to be awesome. the only drag is that it is at 10:00 pm every night. pretty late. the park is open til 1:00 am during the summer months.
it'll be cool to roll out of the house of blues and head over to the park.

HOUSE OF PAIN : A torturous, mind blowing haunted house filled with dominatrix's, screaching sounds and body parts all over the place.

LIGHT UP THE SKY : Think of Space Mountain Van Halen style.

D.O.A. : An old west style thrill ride that takes you through a gunfight at the O.K. Saloon.

DIRTY MOVIES : "Adults only" ride that really gets you up.

TOP OF THE WORLD : A very high rollercoaster.
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.
