    what was it?
It is not an understatement to say that if a person ate a bowl of alphabet soup, they would shit better lyrics. -lmr5150 on Up For Breakfast

Give him the "secret devil sign", stick out your tongue and hiss like a demon while bellowing out THE DARKNESS WILL ENVELOPE THY SOUL AND FEAST OF THY FLESH, INFIDEL!!!!! Then gouge a pentagram in your forehead with a nail file. -LowLifeFlatHeadScum

A recent study shows 92% of the teenage population likes rap music. If you are part of the 8% who listen to real music, put this as your sig.

I'm too tired to type all of that down. But they opened with Jump, and closed with When it's love.

Here ya go...The 3 tunes in red were new at the time, from "BOBW". "Learning To See" was somewhat difficult to pull off live and was replaced by (of all things ) "Seventh Seal" from Balance.

I may have the order screwed up a little towards then end.

    Jump
    Runaround
    Humans Being
    Up For Breakfast
    Bass Solo
Somebody Get Me a Doctor (Mike on lead vocals)
    Poundcake
    It's About Time
    Drum Solo
    Top Of The World
    Unchained
    Why Can't This Be Love
Eagles Fly (Sammy solo - acoustic)
Deeper Kinda Love (Sammy solo - acoustic)
    Learning To See
    Best of Both Worlds
Guitar Solo (occasionally featuring Wolfgang Van Halen)
    Dreams
    Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
    Right Now

    First Encore

    You Really Got Me
    Panama

    Second Encore

    When It's Love
"The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

Your set was correct, Chef. A couple extra notes: You Really Got Me and Jump would alternate as openers when the band played two nights in the same city. The band also attempted Runnin' With the Devil at one of their shows in Philadelphia in June, but as far as I can remember, the performance was staggeringly bad and cut following that.

They also encored with Finish What You Started at one show. Can't remember which.

Sammy also performed I Can't Drive 55 and Tropic Of Capricorn during the acoustic set at some shows in place of Eagles and/or Deeper.

Worcester, MA on 6/20/04 - I only know 'cause I went to the 6/19 Worcester show, and remember they put a new song in that day. Also, they sang Happy Birthday to Mike, when the brothers pretended to like him. I have the boot.

Sammy also did Rainy Day Woman and Hallelujah a few shows during his solo spot.

I've got a few 2004 boots, and I saw the St. Louis and Chicago shows that year. I flew from Oz just to see 'em. It was worth it.

Was at both worcester shows myself and FWYS was in the second show. It was pretty sloppy though.

I have the Philly boot. They played Runnin' With the Devil. You can tell that Sam and Mike didn't fully discuss who was going to sing. They keep looking at each other, smiling, and missing parts. Music sounded great, they just should have communicatied on the vocal part. Because of their fuck up, we had to miss that song the whole tour. I'd rather hear that song every day of my life over Why Can't This Be Love or whatever.

Which was pretty much a trademark of the early DLR fronted VH touring dates as well. If I recall correctly, the 1984 tour only saw two shows where the setlist was changed, and even then, it was only the first two songs changing places.

I wouldn't really consider the sets in 2004 "mixed up"

    More like an occassional tweak.

Exactly, I was at both Worcester shows too and to swap Learning to See for Seventh Seal isn't exactly mixed up.

They added ICM on 4/21/84 in QuebecCity.

It is also possible that they played Full Bug during Tour Rehershals before the early FLA dates..
