i hope it's true, it's the only way i'll get to see them other than youtube
I used to wonder why he was grinning all the time(Michael Ian Black talkin about EVH on VH1 I love the 80's) but then i realized the reason he's grinning is because he's Eddie F*#king Van Halen

See I might see them then.....I skipped them when they came to houston because after what they did to Mike I just had no interest. Not at that price. And I'm not complaining. That's just how I felt...plain and simple...I wasn't even tempted. I haven't even been keeping up with the tour. But for 15 bucks I may give it a look see.

Hmm, I wonder if they'll include more than half of the show this time

I know what you mean. I was in the same boat til they came to my town. Before that, the closest they came on this tour was about 150 miles away and I definitely wasn't gonna put forth the effort for this one, same reasons. I'm still upset about Mikey, but at least I saw the guys since I'm thinking this is the last one for them. If they hadn't come to Reno, I wouldn't have bothered.

Fork over a couple of bucks for the dvd just to see what you missed.

Oh, no, I was just being sarcastic.

I think it's great the band is doing a DVD, and would probably purchase it if it came out. Just after the LWAN trimming, you gotta wonder if they'll do the same here.

I didn't mean to come off as an asshole here. Finally the band is doing something RIGHT.

I didn't care for the spliced up LWAN myself. Why not just record the entire show and put it out on dvd?

Hence my remark, which was apparently taken out of context...

I actually don't see myself buying it if ANY parts are missing. A full live show with some mistakes is better than a spliced up show with no mistakes, I've always felt. The full concert should be there, and the way they've been playing lately, there'd be no reason for them to cut any tracks from it.

The security crew also instructed every patron in San Diego entering the ramp inner pit, particularly those of us in front row, to be extra boisterous and rowdy because the band was filming the show for a possible DVD release.

It's anybody's guess as to whether they'll blow it off, splice up a bunch of different shows, or present one entire show as they ought to. My first guess would be the second scenario, much like RHRN.

Great idea! After thirty years of touring, let's put out the first ever live pro-shot DVD with Dave...with Ed's kid on bass faking it.

    Heh. I know, I'm a downer. Apologies.
