I actually got this particular EVH solo spot off of Napster years ago, and I still think that blues jam he does @ 3:34 is easily one of my favorite EVH recordings. Thanks for posting the whole show....very cool

When I listen to this particular solo, it sounds really similar to some of his solos from this tour, except when people listen to solos from the current tour (before the "break"), they basically talk about how bad they sound, and I really don't hear a huge difference from this one in terms of playing "clean".

    Very cool nevertheless!

    Thanks for the download.

It's showing it's a .rar file? I can't get it to open. Any suggestions to get this to play.

    Thanks

You need a program called Winrar to open it. You can get it here http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.ht...=srch&tg=dl-20. It's the first file in the list.

Are you talkin' 'bout Eddie's heavy version of,"Sittin' On Top Of The World,"...via The Mississippi Sheiks via Howlin' Wolf via Cream??

"I used to play the blues alone in all the local joints," he explained. 'The only thing that I can really play on guitar to this day is the blues. I heard Doc Watson and his son playing 15 years ago, and from there I got into Leadbelly and John Lee Hooker."--DLR
