    Default EVH Signature Wah pedal

Well, it looks as if the Official EVH Signature Wah is available for pre-order at the VH Store. Check it out: http://www.vanhalenstore.com/page/VH/PROD/GG/EVH95 Love the yellow and black. I might be a sucker for this one.

I watched a bunch of the Vegas show boots this morning. Every time Ed stepped on the wah I cringed a little. I REALLY didn't want to hear it in those classic tunes.

I liked the phaser for the 'Script' option, but I don't really see much beyond a fancy paintjob with the flanger and wah.

Speaking of those Vegas boots... Was that the show everyone was exclaiming how awesome it was? Perhaps it was my tired state of mind, but I really didn't think the band sounded that good. Dave had like two modes of vocals--scream and funny talk. Ed was still sloppy and doing his weird bad-intonation improv over verses thing, and the background vocals were way loose.

YES! I can FINALLY really nail the solos to "Cabo Wabo" and "In N Out"!

How open-minded do I have to be before my brains start spilling out?

Looks cool, but the wah is about as VH-ish as a talk box or something.

I really didn't think so, dude. All of the clips I watched was Ed being Ed of '04 and '07.

He sounded good on the solo. But go check out "Little Guitars." I was disappointed with most of the songs I watched/heard, but LG made me almost mad the way he was missing notes and the like. I think I said out loud: "Ed, stop fucking around and play the damn song."

I have to be honest...all I watched was his solo.

check out the pro shot from Dallas video. Ed is playing pretty damn good....or maybe it's the hair that's making me think it's 1995 all over again

In "Main", under the obviously confusing title of "Pro Video From Dallas".

It's from a local newscast, containing incomplete yet quite good versions of "YRGM" and "I'm The One".

Fine with me. I believe posting a list price of nearly $300 for what is essentially a slightly modded, one function "Cry Baby" pedal to be absurd, cool paint job or not. And $170 is no bargain, either. I mean, what are you paying for? A bit deeper mid-range? I honestly fail to see the big selling point here.
