LOFL! Any list without Cheers doesn't deserve to exist.

For that matter, any list with Cheers in any spot other than Number One is inaccurate.

Still, I'll give it points for including Gunsmoke and Moonlighting, but I'll subtract points for American Idol and The West Wing.

    Sopranos #1????

    American Idol??

Please. This list is a joke. Sopranos was a great show, but the greatest show of all time?

If any list fails to include this show, then by all means , it is simply invalid...

The Sopranos at Number 1 and All in the Family at 2, I can agree with. But 24, American Idol, Mary Tyler Moore, Oprah over Seinfeld, MASH, Cheers....??? HELLO!?!?!?

This is almost worst than the Rolling Stone Guitarist's List.

Most, if not all of these type of lists are "arguable" at best.....but this one is possibly the worst I have ever seen.....

Top 2 I agree with. Sesame Street should be in the top 5.

Happy Days launched should also get mention along with Cheers and M.A.S.H.
Sure he was the kid on Andy Griffith but Ron Howard's career as well Henry Winkler and not to mention Robin Williams.

SNL should also be in the top 10 since it launched some damn huge careers such as Dan Akroyd, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler Will Farrell and many, many more.

    Lol....Great list.

Obviously Cheers is a laughable omission, but where the hell is NYPD Blue?? That show pushed the envelope like we'd never seen on broadcast TV to that point. It was an instant phenomenon through the early 90's. Epic show with epic characters. Was Sipowicz NOT the shit?

VH with Sam ('86-'96) - Incredible era....."We have renamed this town 'New Halen!'.
VH with Gary ('98) - Fucking disaster. WTF was that??
VH with Wolf/Dave ('12-'15) - Amazing comeback. Smokin' album and tours.

I will go on record as saying that any list without Cheers is suspect. However I was thrilled with the inclusion of Miami Vice! My favorite show of all time is generally looked at now days as "campy". However anyone from that era knows what an impact Vice had on that time and that it was a very serious show that reflected cocaine's impact on the subculture. Awesome night shooting and all the things that Miami was in the 1980's was well done by the show, while giving a perspective of the cops lives at the same time.

By the way, "Miami Vice" the movie blows goats. Colin Farell sucked balls as Crockett. Jamie Foxx was ok as Tubbs though.
