Default Guitar news from St. Louis!

Okay, just saw the St. Louis show, and these are the guitars that I saw(sorry, no pics)

There was the ivory Wolf that has been seen in pics on the site already. There is a second ivory also, but the one that I haven't heard anyone talk about yet is the natural Quilt Top Wolf II that I saw last night. It was really beautiful, and I'm wondering if anybody from the show got a picture of it that they can post?

Anyway, other than that, he played the "little Frankie", and two different Art Series Charvels. The white/black one was probably one of the absolute coolest stripe patterns that I've seen on the EVH striped ones. Very close to the original Frankie stripe pattern. The other was a Black with thin yellow stripes.

BTW, great show. Eddie is back!

Eddie has been back for 8-10 months now. Please explain?

Plus he played the Natural Quilt top at the Tiger Jam and Reno I believe.

The Eddie I saw last night played much better than the Eddie that I saw in the boots from the past 8-10 months. Whatever he did over the past two months obviously worked. It seemed as if he could hear much better if you ask me. Nothing was out of synch as it had been on many of the boots that I watched. He wasn't the frustrated and angry Ed. He was the happy, smiling, energetic, guitar genius Eddie.

What I mean is that I've seen Van Halen several times over the years, and at the 2004 show, I was disappointed and stunned at Eddies deteriorated ability. It has been my understanding that on the first leg of this tour, Eddie had not improved much since 2004. The Eddie that I saw last night was more like the Eddie that I'd seen in the early to mid 90's. His tone was great, and his playing was outstanding.

Sorry if I'm behind the curve on the Natural quilt Wolf II, but I hadn't read anything here about it yet, or seen any pics of it, so I thought I would bring it up.

I must apologize for the tone of my post. People have recently been starting threads whenever a thought that they think is unique pops into their head....when in fact...most of us are thinking the same thing...and it really is getting to me.

Go to the Present Forum and you'll see what I mean.

    Again, sorry about that.

Yeah, I saw Tony outside after the show.

So, are you going to bid on the B/W EVH Art Series? Do you agree that the B/W from last night is one of the best of the Eddie striped Charvels?

BTW EvH_316_5150, don't worry about it. I've seen the posts in Main. I just try to stay in here most of the time. Most of the guys here have been here for the long haul, and aren't Band-Wagon jumping social retards. I'm not blaming the recent influx of Roth fans for the problem. Seems like everyone has thier own little VH banner they are carrying. Fans that are pissed because Sammy isn't in the band, fans that are pissed that Mike isn't in the band, fans that are pissed that Gary isn't in.........., well, nevermind. Anyway, I would have preferred that for this tour, they would have included Mike, but whether one chooses to accept Wolfgang or not, you just could not walk away from last night's show without being impressed.

So Mods feel free to close of you feel this is unnecessary.
Hmmmm... looks like you decided to jump on the bandwagon yourself. Double standard perhaps?

Like I said, the B/W one is what I consider to be one of the coolest looking ones that Eddie has striped. Look for that one on Ebay.

This thread isn't one of them but I'm tired of people starting threads every time "somebody gets an erection over something Ed does".
