    Default New tour shirts?

Someone mentioned in one of the show threads that they had new merchandise. Supposidly they have one that looks like the 1982 tour shirt. If anyone bought any can they take a picture of back and front and post please. Thank you.

They need to make a shirt with a big Old school VH logo like the front of VHII.
Slap a 2008 on the back with eveyones name and and Franky guitar and you have yourself a seller.

As far as I can tell, the only shirts that are out there are also available here.

The ones with the 1979 tour logo are a personal favorite, especially the jersey-t's.

The lion jersey I had was from the FW tour. Did I miss something?

I bought one of the new versions at the show, but can't post pics here at work.

Nah, they've only added one piece of new merch since the 'bamboo' Asian eagle '84 tee. If you want a preview of their new Lion '08 tee shirt, here it is. About time, they were sorely lacking in the white tee shirt department.

Now add some longer black sleeves along with a collar ring, and it will look similar to the one I owned eons ago. Wish I still had the large window decal of the same image.

Still burns me I never got any tees from any of my pre-'85 shows. I was just a kid for all of them, didn't even have a driver's license, tagging along with the old boys, didn't have jack shit for cash.

Somehow it's just not the same buying tees in the aftermarket. Overpriced or not, there's just something about picking up a ratty Taiwanese tee AT the show you attend, and nowhere else.

Surprisingly enough, KMart of all places had a line of 70's concert t-shirt recreations for sale a couple of years ago, with faithful reproductions of AC/DC (with Bon), Pink Floyd and Zeppelin artwork from that era. To further enhance the effect, they would also fall apart after 3-4 washings.

Wal-Mart has had some decent finds as of late for some of the older style shirts. My older two boys have a number of them and wear them frequently. Been somewhat surprised at how well they are holding up. Not bad for $5-$10 shirts.

I believe Hard Rock as well as Urban Outfitters are doing the same sort of corporate whoring recently....seen some AC/DC and Stones and Guns n' Roses shirts in the same vein. And of course there's guys online at eBay who silkscreen logos and dates and try to pass 'em off as authentic. Bootlegging crappy tees online, LOL. What's the world come to when you can't rely on the one true source of bootlegged concert wear - the guys on the corners outside the venue after the show.

Twenty bucks man, good deal, twenty, two for thirty-five.
    Five bucks for one.
Come on, get outta here, five bucks, sheeeeiiiiiit. Fifteen.
    Five bucks for one.
Ten bucks man, I gotta go.
Five bucks. Won't be worth a dollar in twenty minutes.
    Sheeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiit. I'm out.
(get in car, start rolling out of lot, dude runs back up to your window)
    Five bucks, fine.
    Pleasure doin' business with ya.

I've bought my share of boot tees. Always stupid. It's tradition.
