This Will Suck Tremendously Or Be Merely Adequate: Will Smith's "Hancock"

There does not appear to be much "middle ground" for Will Smith films, as you either tolerate them or tolerate them slightly less because they have all been tediously mediocre as of late. Coming the first week of June, he just may be trying your patience once again.

It's not really a matter of the fellow's personal appeal, which can be quite endearing. It's the actual films he comes out with. For crying out loud, Jeff Goldblum has a better batting average. Even Charlie Sheen was laughing at the guy, until it was pointed out to Sheen that Smith's films occasionally make money.

Take a look at this guy's hits and RBI percentage (along with the occasional homer) and tell me how many more than two that you would like to see again, let alone have in your DVD library.

I have MIB and MIB II in my collection. Both of which I really enjoyed. I own I, Robot which was decent....Hitch as well. I also have Pursuit of Happpyness which I thought was really good. I haven't seen I Am Legend, but...sticking with the batting average analogy.....out of the people I've talked to it had a pretty good batting average.

Will Smith claims that his next movie, "Hancock" will be his biggest film yet. I highly doubt that, but who knows...

Oh, and I don't have any Will Smith movies in my library.

I don't have a library, but 6 Degrees, Ali and Pursuit (that's where he plays
the down-on-his-luck-dad-who-rises-above-it, right?) are all good. He's a good
actor who's made lotsa crap movies. I even thought he was ok in the one where
he's the last New Yorker, but the the hokey CGI did the flick in. Funny, but people
laffed when I said he would play Ali. Who's laffing now, bitches?

I think Will Smith is damn good as an actor. Most of his movies are decent. I thought I Am Legend was genuinely scary!
CHICAGO WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS

The Chicago White Sox (1901-present) - The Original SOX - Proof

    The Boston Americans (1901)
    The Boston Somersets (1902)
    The Boston Pilgrims (1903-1906)
The Boston Red Sox (1907-present) - Proof

The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.
