So far, we haven't heard anything, but there's plenty of good quality boots floating around.

I would think that VH has sole rights to distribute any of their concerts and it is probably stated clearly so in the contract for the show.

I thought they might be trying to put a DVD together. They are wearing the same exact clothes for both Nevada shows. (From what I have seen) Maybe it's an attempt to put one DVD together from multiple shows. Or not. who knows.
If eddie were down and out on a sidewalk playing guitar I'd be next to him with a bottle and a blanky braving the cold. I would be sucking my thumb happily making chupa chupa noises in sync with the petroglyphic sounds that came from the mighty finger tips of Edward Van Halen.

I think if anything is released by Van Halen within the next year it will ultimately be a Live DVD of this tour. I wouldn't expect anything other than that. It would be the easiest thing to release.

I would think it would be kind of tough to hide the fact that footage is being recorded for a DVD. Isn't special equipment (more than the big screen footage) needed to record and produce a bonafide concert DVD ala Rush in Rio? You would think the video cameras would be panning all through the crowd to get crowd reaction.

I wish there was going to be a DVD. If there is, from what I can tell it would be low budget.

I don't know about that. At Phillips Arena there were 8 people up in the camera wells all around the arena. Plus 2 at the soundboard. I'm pretty sure they are recording but for what is the question.

Could you tell if they were for the big screen? If so, then it wasn't for a DVD. But let's hope they were for a DVD. Usually they tell the audience so they'd be a little more jacked up than normal.

Could've been both. I remember in Greensboro there weren't that many cameras. We'll see.

Well, given you are at the links, its odds on that each thread will have a Sam/Dave or a Wolf/Mike argument in it...somewhere.

I remember seeing 3 cameras set up by the soundboard at MSG and 2 guys with cameras by the stage. Also from what I can remember there were about the same amount in New Halen in 1986, although noticeably on stage a lot more. There wasn't a boom rig out in the crowd if my memory is correct. Hell with all the bootleg material that is out there, especially the Vandiego dave stuff, there are more than enough camera angles to put together a nice live dvd. Even if it is booted.
I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.
