JDK is kind of a dick. I read an interview with him and he's scoffed at Still of the Night by Whitesnake and claimed it wasn't "written properly" Obviously that must've been one arguement he lost in the studio because he was the A&R guy for that record and it ended up on the record and he's not happy with it. It's a brilliant tune in my opinion especially the middle section with the cello part. Music is so subjective anyway. Anyone who approaches it from a right and wrong standpoint is a one legged man in an ass kicking contest

    Kalodner thinks he's God.

The man has a great track record of hits but the artistry is lacking on most of his little "projects".

I don't know I think the Whitesnake '87 album is great. Pump is excellent not that he had all that much to do with the greatness of those records. Personally I don't think he did at all. Pump was all Aerosmith and Bruce Fairburn
