Default What's your favorite Frankie? I have to say this is mine!

My favorite version of the Frankenstein has to be the Kramer Hockeystick, but I do like the Classic Beak. This one just looks mean.

No it's not for sale, nor was it built for sale... sorry.

LWAN is my favorite hands down!!!!!
I used to wonder why he was grinning all the time(Michael Ian Black talkin about EVH on VH1 I love the 80's) but then i realized the reason he's grinning is because he's Eddie F*#king Van Halen

The blue sparkle ash Strat I built back in December is having Floyd/D-Tuna issues, and I tried slipping a quarter under the corner and it seemed to really shift it into the correct position. I was going to mount one to it Eddie-style (I've got a big stack of 1971 quarters). This, by the way, is about as close as I'll ever come to doing an EVH tribute guitar.

    Yep Stable as a rock.
The way I have it set up is that the whole Floyd is mounted that far off the body. Flat, stable, with no rock. Action is dead on with pocket work.
If your gonna put a quarter on with the beak neck, ya gotta make it authentic.
Oh. a sorry for the highjack Dive.
    Just bustin balls.

    Good to know. Thanks, Ron.

My tech didn't quite "sink" the Floyd posts deep enough to let the trem sit as low as I like. The quarter will make it sit evenly, then the D-Tuna won't bump into the body and shift the low-E saddle all around as it has been.
