    Default New Amp, Store recomendation

I just ordered a new Soldano tonight and thought I'd pass on the store info. Store is Blues City Music out of Tennessee. No store front, web/phone orders only. The owner, James Burke, is a class act. He's got great info on Soldano's and Splawns, great suggestions, and great customer service. If you're looking for fair deals on Soldano's or Splawn's give him an email or call.

    His site is here... http://www.bluescitymusic.com/soldano.htm

As for the amp, I bought a Soldano Hot Rod 50 Avenger. Basically an Avenger with effects loop. I've missed mine since I sold it, so...

Be cool, have a good week.

Good info--thanks, Scott. I hope you enjoy the new amp.

A Soldano SLO-100 has been part of my "plan" for quite a while now. Soon, hopefully...

I looked at Bogners before I looked at Splawns, and they are simply just way too expensive. The sound great and if you've got the coin to do so, then more power to you, but once I tried a Splawn, everything else went black and white, the Splawn is like HD, on a Plasma screen...nothing else touches it.

I received the amp today, (1) day shipping. Not bad for Fed-X. The amp sounds fantastic. I've come full circle from my earlier days and am extremely pleased with amp. No frills, no channel switching, just pure tone.

I've struggled with finding "my sound" as I'm sure several of you have. I've come to the conclusion that this is my sound. I accept it, and I'm happy with it.

I know everyone has their "amp". I've had several amps including Bogner's, Marshall's, Mesa Boogies, Krank's, Lots of Peavey's, Laney's, Line 6's, and have always liked the amps, but never felt the, "YES", feeling. I've got that with this amp. I'm not knocking any of the other amps, I've just found my amp.

Ok, enough of me drooling over my stuff. I'm going to go play.

    My tour ends here...
