    Default 1959RR Marshall Amp

Have you guys seen this clip?
It's a demo of the new Rany Rhoads 1959RR Marshall amp ... and I want it.

I know it's a Randy Rhoads signature amp, but I think it also sounds similiar to the tone on those early Van Halen demo tapes too, when Ed played through Ace Frehely's rig.

This is a cool clip ...
    Great tone and great chops.

the review in last months guitarist mag said it was a great amp and a worthy recreation of randy's tone. they also mentioned the mod was channel 2 being cascaded back into channel ones gain stage (or something like that) the only critisism they had was it has to be played very loud in order to get the best from it, which is typical of all the marshall 1959slp's, so unless you have some big gigs lined up then its not the kind of amp most of us need..(but we all seriously want!)

Yeah Randy was recorded sounding dry and sligtly sterile, but his live sound was HUGE!!! I have Ozzy/Randy Tribute in the car and it's very agressive and ballsy.
