I would love to hear this song live.

Here's a live version, to hold you over until you get a better version. You can always use a software "separator" to divide the audio.

Yeah, the setlist is kinda what I thought. I was under the impression he didn't do some of the more obscure songs from VOA. Four total isn't bad though.

I don't mean for anyone to take this the wrong way, but looking at a Sammy Hagar solo setlist or for that matter Dave's as well, without the Van Halen songs in the setlist it is just kind of "eh".

Some good tunes but a lot of filler.

Hell, for Dave's current solo setlist, take out Van Halen and he is a three song opening act.
Taylor Swift is nice to look at. Adele can sing.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

    Preferred pronouns: he/him/his

Hurricane Halen - Let's all gingery touch our sword tips!!!

DONATE TO THE LINKS YA CHEAP BASTARDS!!!!

Wow thanks, I got to say the Wabos need to practice this song a little more. It was played way too fast. Such a great song. It needs to be on your set next time u head down to Southern California Sam.

I'm anything but crazy about Mona's background vocals on that song.

More than likely as long as one was the "opening act" for the other, as in this case. A mere check of the provided link explains the situation here.

At least while he lived here, Nugent was pretty legendary in Michigan for performing with any rock act that tours through here and asks him to play. Through the years he's played with VH, Kid Rock and several others.

Impressive that Sammy can pull out a song from the back catalog like YLIDMC and sing it SPOT ON 20 years later. He had all the inflexions, everything was perfect. Too bad we got the same tired set list on most VH tours, though.

they broadcasted the show he did in Detroit on the local rock radio show in 84, I've got it on tape somewhere. He changed the setlist a little from what's on top...did Rock is in my Bood and a few others. The thing about the show that's cool is that it moves really fast, really no talking except for a few spots it's just song after song. the other cool thing is that he asks the crowd what they want to hear in the middle and then plays what they cheer the loudest for.

I've got a cassette from Fresno, 1985. I got it from "Eruption" many years ago. But its back at my familys house. Its got a great sound too.

He does "Girl gets around" on it too. I must get it when I'm down there next.
