    Summary please.

I'll start caring for these things when they finally start questioning the official 9/11 story.

Well that settles on the WMDs in Iraq case. It wasn't that hard to be almost certain it never was an issue.

Yes, it is. Little things like Bush's original decision was to give the 9/11 case to CIA, not the military.

You know what amazes me. When it's the topic on gas prices, we have 56 pages of people internet-shouting at Bush, but when it's an actual documentary about the guy which puts him in a bit of a different light - wow. Such a bandwidth-heavy threat it is.

Well, where to begin? All of the missteps and wrong intentions from the top down. Iraq's been a train wreck since the day Bremer stepped foot on Iraqi soil, and that sadist Ricardo Sanchez too. The events that led to those assignments. What's happened since, and where we're at today in Iraq.
It's insane invading a country with no plan nor any idea of what you want to do when you get there. The Bush administration doesn't know why we're there nor what we're doing there. There's no mission. A lot of people dying and no hope for Iraq. All of it the fault of the Bush administration. It's terribly sad, to say the least.

They're given us what, 6 or 7 different reasons? Still not sure why exactly. Well, wait, I do recall George Bush saying, "Well after-all, this is the guy (Saddam) who tried killing my dad" . That's good enough for somebody as reasonable as George W.

I have . You just used a very general phrase "Bush administration" when it was very obvious from documentary that both Tenet and Powell tried to prevent the Iraqi compaign. Doesn't alter the fact that Cheney and Rumsfeld did their part of the job in this though.

Neither Tenet, Powell, nor Cheney or Rumsfeld survived this administration. I obviously wasn't speaking of any one person specifically anyway. And regardless of who may have tried to prevent the war, as I said, the Bush administration doesn't know why we're there nor what we're doing there. There's no mission. A great many people killed, and no hope in Iraq. All of it the fault of the Bush administration.

And again like I said. It's terribly sad, to say the least.

I think it's unfortunate that a documentary like this was needed to convince a lot of people. They failed to listen to those who pointed out that these were lies at the very beginning. And none of the current candidates with the exception of Ron Paul is willing to rule out military attacks ... nukes included. What exactly have we learned from watching this? Nothing.

People get very wrapped up in the rhetoric, and with so many communication networks in this 21st Century, there's a LOT of rhetoric. The old adage that watching the news keeps you informed is not true in the slightest. One watches/reads/listens to the news nowadays to hear and feel what they want to hear and feel. Some, but definitely not enough, understand the importance of reading between the lines.

I was back in school getting my Poli Sci degree in 2002 when the Bush Administration's campaign to go to war in Iraq was going on. When the first war resolution passed--the one that most '04 and '08 Democratic presidential candidates have had to defend and/or apologize for--I felt like I was spinning my head around looking for ANYONE who recognized the power that had just been given to the President. That Democrats would roll over like that was a testament to just how weak the party had become.

Loosely related... Yesterday word came in that the body of an old friend of mine had been positively identified in Baghdad. He was a former cop from my hometown and had been working security for a private contractor in Iraq. He was abducted in December 2006 at a fake checkpoint. I have no love for George W. but have learned the importance of and tried very hard to exercise a separation of practical thinking and emotional thinking when it comes to politics. It is otherwise much too easy to lose objectivity. Between the announcement of the 4,000 number a few days ago and the news of my friend's death, I got genuinely mad at George Bush and couldn't help but continually think: Who in the hell does he think he is with this war? Whether one agrees or not with the premise(s) to go to war, it's hard to disagree the approach was wrong and thus more lives have been lost and more chaos has ensued. I was an unusual mix of angry and sad yesterday.
