Default Has or hasn't "Dirty Movies" ever been played live?

I thought the general consensus was "no" until I read the Oklahoma story which says it was played:

    Date: October 3, 1981
    Location: Norman, OK
    Venue: The Lloyd Noble Center
    Opening Act: G-Force
    Tour: Fair Warning

I would be really, really curious to hear a live version of what I consider one of VH's best songs.

Most likely a typo in the Oklahoma story. It should have said Romeo Delight, which was the usual song they played between Sunday Afternoon in the Park and Everybody Wants Some during that leg of the Fair Warning Tour.

"Dirty Movies" has never been played live as far as I know.

That's a strange typo. The two song titles don't even sound the same. Could there be hope...

I have never seen a video or heard a bootleg of this song.

If there is one out there, I'd love to see/hear it.

It was probably someone on here who called Dave on the radio show 3 years ago to ask this very question. Dave went on some long-winded tirade without even answering the question, so the guy asked him again, and Dave said they did. Complete bull-shit. The song was never played live.

Dave long-winded and not making any sense? Heresy!

Well back then FW was the new album and of course they were pushing a lot of the new stuff. I'm sure it was played but there's probably a set list from the Oakland show floating around here somewhere since that's the one I went to. There's always debate about all that stuff. I really wish I paid more attention, live VH was a given back then. I had no idea that the Oakland show would turn out to be such a huge show that people look back on now. I was just thrilled to be there and part of it.

Of course, my memory's kinda foggy now, plus the rush of seeing live VH was a lot to take in back then! Live VH was amazing back in the day. I couldn't get over Edward in those white knickers tho.

    Awesome show btw.

I have this pod-cast. Dave is absolutely GREAT at dodging questions in such a way that it makes you think he's giving you an answer.

If you listen to some of his podcasts it is so easy to tell when Dave is bull-shitting.

One guest he had said that him and Dave once hung out at a club in NYC once...and Dave goes, "Yeah I remember that specific hang....there's a good memory there!"

I think Dave is a genuine guy...I really do....but that was just bullshit.
