LMR5150 will be there along with his lady. We bought 5*. Since it is a Thurs, we may make a weekend out of it.
I don't have a cool signature. Deal with it!

Alright JimmyG! What's up, brotha?! Sorry the A.C. gig didn't work out for your son's b-day, man. But the good news is now you get to rock out in Baltimore! We should definitely hook up again dude. Are you bringing your son or just you and your woman or what? Derek and I (and my girlfriend this time) will definitely be pre-gamin it somewhere downtown. I'll let you know when it gets a little closer where we're gonna be! Glad to hear you're gonna be at our show now, man. See you then!

By the way, anybody else that wants to get together before the show, we should pick a spot and all meet up! A bunch of us met at the Greene Turtle for the D.C. show and had a blast. So, let's do it up VH style!
"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne

"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello

"A lot of bands mature, which means they get square; they start delivering messages. Hey, you got a message, use Western Union." -DLR

lmr, my buddy and I are 5 star freaks too! If you've never had the experience before, it is definitely worth it. And you should definitely make a weekend out of it. There's all kinds of cool things to do in the inner harbor/downtown area. If you need any info on anything let me know, I'd be happy to help you out. Oh wait, I see now you're from Pittsburgh. Sorry man, there is no way that I can bring myself to help out a possible Steelers fan.

How about a meet up at Pickles Pub? Actually, a meet up anywhere would be great.

Wasn't able to do the 5 star. I've got nose bleed seats for the show, even though the Arena (or Civic Center, as I call it) is not really big enough for seats to be considered "nose bleed."

Hey Wolfie3!!!! What is up dude!!!!!! Glad to hear back from you ... o'hell yeah we'll hook up ... The A.C. show not working out is a blessing in disguise ... I'm saving a whole lot of money by not going there ... the ex-wife is being very cool about the gig being on a school night ... I guess since it's in Baltimore ... so all is good and 'Yes', I'm bringing my son ... he and I can't wait. I look forward to seeing you and Derek and meeting your girl. As we get closer, lets try to pick a place for ALL of us Linkers to meet at ... someplace close or at least in walking distance to the show. I will need some guidance on where to park ... somewhere in the neighborhood of the show. Anyway, all is good in my world and I hope all is good in yours. We'll stay in touch ... Can't wait to see the MIGHTY VAN HALEN!!!!!

LMR, as Wolfie3 indicated ... we should all try to meet up before the show without a doubt ... I think I'm going to leave the spot to Wolfie3 ... he know's that area better than I do ... It's always good meeting other linkers ...

JimmyG, I'm in Section 323, cheap-o seats. Regardless, it will be a blast.

I know Baltimore very well, having lived, gone to school, and/or worked in the Baltimore area for 35 of my almost 37 years (even lived downtown for a year). There are lots of good places to meet up before the show.

So psyched for this show....can't wait!

But one night's all we're given,
So, baby, leave me alone, or, baby, stay the night

The Van Halen I grew up on showed up at the party, drank all your alcohol and fucked your girlfriend. The Sammy era seemed more like spending a Saturday night alone with your girlfriend telling her how much you love her. - Sickman, summing it all up for me!
