Default A couple good things about the shows being rescheduled.

Reason Number 1. Weather will be nicer and we can all get together and tailgate! I went to the show at the IZOD back in November and froze my junk off.

Reason Number 2. I will have more money to go to more then one show.

Last week when they rescheduled I thought they would not postpone after going thru the trouble of rescheduling , but the events of today proved me wrong.

So , seems to me that they are in the process of rescheduling dates right now , doesnt seem like they would reschedule and not go thru with the dates.

Tour supposedly starts up with TigerJam , something they can not reschedule.

Lets hope Ed gets better and the are able to finish off the tour.

The absolute BEST thing about the postponments - assuming (hahaha) that the tour goes on - is that we lucky bastards can now DUMP our unwanted seats to some of these shows and buy some better ones.

Ain't happy with those section 115 tickets you got screwed with for Izod center that you bought at 10:01 on Monday am?

LUCKY YOU! Get a refund and buy some of those 10th row seats for face value on ticketexchange.

This is a GREAT opportunity for people here. Tickets for shows like izod and MSG are only going to be cheaper, since a flood of people who can't get rid of them now on ebay will refund.

This works out GREAT for me. I bought a pair of 17th row dead center on ticketexchange for only $200 each (same tix were goin for $1000 or so last time), but I had resigned myself to losing at least $100, probably more, on my old tickets. Well, now I can just refund those old tix and get ALL my $ back on the original seats.

I know alot of people here bought crappy seats for full $150 price for any number of shows, only to see awesome seats pop up on ticketexchange or ebay or what have you as the show got close. Now you can rectify that situation.

Don't sit in the crappy seats folks, get up close on the floor or the sides. Take advantage of this opportunity.

I just picked up a pair of 4th row floor on Eddie's side for $180, which is the exact same price I paid via auction in december for the 20th row seats via TM auction.

Now if only these shows happen...eventually...bummed out about St. Patty's day I was really looking forward to that!

Man, that is well said. Common sense says with all the tickets sold, the tour will be back on the road sooner than later.

However, as we all know (some of us better than others), there are no rules in Van Halenville. This tour might be done for a long, long time.

well, they are saying to hold onto your tickets for rescheduled shows...I think I will wait and see when they reschedule it...if it doesnt happen I'll just get my refund then...I wouldnt want to think they are just dicking the fans around "ya hold onto your tickets" and then cancel it...but who knows....some of these shows its the 2nd time they were postponed...

Is there anything in the fine print about how long you have to refund? I wouldn't put ANYTHING past Ticketmaster, the promoter, or this band.

I had tickets for the Dallas show that never took place on Monday, March
3rd. The show has been rescheduled until April 24th.

According to the official email I received from Ticketmaster, I can get a refund until 3pm Eastern the day before -- April 23rd.

Since I got paper tickets, I must mail back my tickets back in order to get a refund. If you used TicketFast to get an e-ticket, you can request your refund electronically.

All fees are refundable -- EXCEPT for the original $4.25 processing fee that was charged per order. Not by ticket, but $4.25 per order.

So, not a 100% refund but better than I expected from Ticketshafter.

I returned two sets of tickets today, and it was very easy and painless. I believe I only lost about $4 in fees, which is nothing for a $150 ticket - a "processing fee" or some such. Yeah lame but only a cheapskate will whine about that.

One set was a standard ticketmaster buy, and the other was a ticketmaster auction. They will refund ticketexchange tickets as well.

Didn't ask about deadlines...you'd think they won't take tix back right before a show but who knows. We should find out.
