I know I just posted that this parent was FUCKING STUPID.....but I can't help but.... remember when I was 5-6 and my Dad would take me in a parking lot and let me sit on his lap and drive around. Not on the street, but if there were no cars in the parking lot it would be cool. What was so bad about that? I guess I just called my Dad a FUCKING STUPID parent.

Either way driving on the street with your baby at the wheel is not the smartest idea...not because of something you might do...but what if their's some jag-off that has been drinking all night and is trying to drive home in the morning and he happens to come out of nowhere to hit your car.....what a tragedy....

You've got to be kidding me! That is just amazingly stupid. The worst part is when he made that turn at the end.

Did the car have an airbag? It's a different situation with cars today since they could do some major damage to a baby or small child. I remember getting to drive when I was young as well but this was back in the stone age when cars were built more like tanks than cars and there were no airbags. I can't even remember wearing a seatbelt growing up and on long trips, we slept in the back of the station wagon.

If the kid inherited his father's intelligence, it wouldn't be any great loss.

Seriously, it would've been stellar if the kid puked all over him!

Was that Britney Spears? That video seemed to be a bit extreme, but...

Remember back in the old days of sleeping on the floor on long trips? Hell, we had a '78 Dodge van and I used to kick back in a lawn chair in the very back of the van on long trips from Nebraska to Minnesota every summer. I don't remember any of us wearing seat belts, and we all turned out O. K.

What is remarkable about this is that seeing the turn-in for his destination, rather than slowing or stopping and removing the child from the wheel (and passing the baby to his wife) he merely turns the wheel twice. Real bright. What if the kid's head had hit the door?

Typical of today's parents, and people in general: putting their own selfish needs first, bar the consideration for anyone else (including their own children).
