Default DECADES Music Theme Park: Eloy, Arizona

DECADES – planned to open directly between the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas – will be a living monument to rock music and its artists as well as a dream come true for thrill seekers of all ages. The park itself will feature interconnected Lands and Districts that represent each decade of rock music – the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s in its first phase – with interactive thrill rides, live music and other attractions where audience members can step back in time to the sights and sounds of each era.

Unless I miss my guess, that's the same theme park that has been in the planning stages for decades - but with a new "theme." There was a large theme park in Phoenix, way before my time here, but it was closed to make way for this new grand park. People have waited so long for this most have forgot about it.

Thanks to your input the Arizona State Senate
passed Senate Bill 1450 last week by a 17-11 vote. This will facilitate the construction and financing of Decades Music Theme Park here in
    Arizona!

Now the bill goes to the Arizona House of Representatives and we need your help to get it passed there before it goes to the Governor's Desk.

All of this is happening quickly. Please email the following members of the Arizona House Commerce Committee today! We need a big victory there to keep the momentum going.

Their emails are below. Please include a subject line referencing
"Support for SB1450 and Decades Music Theme Park." Thank you for all
    your support.

A recent study shows 92% of the teenage population likes rap music. If you are part of the 8% who listen to real music, put this as your sig.

Well if we're talking fashion, then I'll head over to the 70's decade. I miss the dittos and bellbottoms, platform heels, rainbow t-shirts, and toe socks. I realize much of this stuff is back in fashion, but it's just not the same somehow.

Seriously, though, I really think this is a fun idea for a theme amusement park. I'd go.

How about an all-Van Halen section of the theme park?

I like the idea of the decades having their own area.
