    This footage is just awesome!

It would be a Rock and Roll tragedy for Eddie to retire when he is still capable of delivering a legendary performance. VH still has it!

    Some more...

BTW - Priceless look on Alex's face during Runnin With The Devil at about 1:15 - Looks like he can't believe how good they sound...

That clip looked pretty good. What happened to cause all of the horrible rumors about Eddie playing horribly in Vegas? Did it all go downhill after he threw a tantrum about the monitors?

Seriously, that's some of the BEST footage I've seen from the tour. Eddie is ON FIRE during Romeo Delight. Look/listen to all the fills he's throwing in, and his timing is DEAD ON! I'm thinking maybe he drank a little and partied it up on the 30th because that was the last night of the 1st leg. That, to me, would explain the incoherent solo from that night and other "issues" he was having. Otherwise the Eddie of 2004 (that SOOO many people were claiming is back!!??!!) is definitely NOT in any of these clips!

The band does sound tremendous on those clips. I think most of the Eddie bashers, myself included, were focussing on the solo from the 30th, which I still say is the absolute worst I have ever heard from Eddie, including anything from 04. It's hard for me to comprehend how he can play so well and then so poorly in the same show. Eddie really is amazing in these clips, and he was really really terrible in his solo spot. I can't figure it out.

Rumours....did you see his solo? That's what caused everything....and it was deserved....

What show are these clips from? They played 2 nights in Sin City

I hear you about Romeo Delight...Ed was on fire during that song....but the fills he was throwing in consisted of wah, and whammy bar pull offs....sounded cool...but they weren't anything spectacular....the overall performance was stellar though...the fills did nothing for me....

If the explanation for Ed (allegedly) drinking on the 30th is that it was the last night of the 1st leg, than we are into some trouble....

At least he's making an effort, and playing 1000 times better and with more energy than '04. If you're expecting the energy and spontaneity of Largo in '82, or the US Festival from '83, then go watch those videos. Because you're not gonna get that anymore. They (Eddie and Alex) don't have anything to prove like they did then.

Why are we into some trouble?!? I'm a professional musician, and believe me (And I know other musicians will agree), sometimes you play a gig where the mood and the festivities are at such a high, that you may go a little overboard in your partying and end up paying for it later. lol. Judging that this show was the ONLY show where everyone said the solo was a "WTF???", it SEEMS, and this is just speculation, that Eddie was having a bit of fun pre-show and it caught up with him. Again, speculation.

    Why are we into trouble?

Because you can't be a recovering alcoholic claiming that your sober...yet JUST because it's the last night of the leg....okay.....I can drink....

    He's a hardcore alcoholic....he CAN NOT drink...not even one or 2....

Like I have said before, if Ed was drinking in Vegas...then we are into some trouble because obviously he hasn't gotten it through his skull that having 1 or 2 drinks is STILL DRINKING...for a normal person 1 or 2 drinks is okay....for an ALCOHOLIC....they can be deadly....

Like you said it's speculation...but I'm just saying, IF he was drinking...which in Vegas, one of the party capitals of the world...is not hard to believe...

Since when is using a wah-wah pedal so bad? Tell that to Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. Eddie's been using it since the 90s anyway.
Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

The wah isn't bad...the players you mentioned used it as an extension of their style of playing....90% of the time when Ed uses it....it has no purpose whatsoever....plus it's kind of funny how Ed is all of a sudden using his wah pedal a lot...now that it looks as though he will be releasing a signature model later on...

How are they gonna advertise it...."Used on such classic VH tracks such as Cabo Wabo, Top of the World, Poundcake, etc...oh yeah...he's also playing it on this 2007 Tour...."

If he does release a wah...I CAN'T WAIT to see how they market it....like I have said before...the Phaser made sense...the Flanger made sense.....Ed barely used/uses a wah....makes no sense to me....
