Default A VH live DVD you'd like to see released

Besides the much wanted Oakland '81 show, which other show(s) would you like to see put out?

I'd love to have a full concert of the 1988 (Ou812) Tokyo show and the Boston 1998 show with Gary.
'Old Van Halen, when I was in it-classic Van Halen-makes you wanna drink, dance and screw, right? And the new Van Halen encourages you to drink milk, drive a Nissan and have a relationship.' - David Lee Roth.

I'd love to see a best of DVD that had an entire show from the early Roth era, perhaps Oakland, then an entire show with Sammy and then an entire show with Gary...

    Certainly agree on Oakland '81.

How about an "official" DVD of the Toronto '95 show in its entirety. Same for Largo '82 - imagine that fully remastered!

Also, Madison Square Garden from this current tour was a big time kick ass show. I wouldn't mind seeing that professionally done.

I'd love to see Oakland 81, the show with Sammy where they played outdoors in Dallas (re-edit that one though, they hardly show Eddie during the solos!), and the best night from this tour

How about a live documentary DVD detailing the "making of" a new studio album?

Are you suggesting Halenology? Three volumes? Rare footage? Easter eggs? Wrong band !

Me? I'd like to see DVDs the bootleg community has yet to see. According to the VH Encyclopedia, there are still plenty of pro-shot DVDs that have yet to see the light of day.

Cobo Hall, Detroit, MI - July 1981. If we don't get an Oakland DVD, a complete Fair Warning show would be nice to have.

Largo, MD - March 1984. We've only seen Montreal (brilliant audience shot) and Vegas from that tour. A pro-shot would also be nice from this tour.

Those are the ones I know by heart. There's also pro-shots done by Warner Bros. from 1979 and 1980. From the Hagar era, there's a complete show from November of 1988, which I would absolutely love to see. The Cherone era, I do not know of any pro-shot vids aside from Sydney '98. I do believe SOMETHING was filmed from that tour, though.

VH would never release these, so if we get these we just have to hope there's someone generous enough to spread 'em. The problem is, we know SOMEONE will have these, it's just a matter of who has them, and if they're the "trading type".

    What Id want....

ANYTHING! Could anything be better than nothing?.....I think not!

But if I had to choose....I'd choose VH Toronto 2004 on Official DVD...because I know I'd be in it for one and plus it was an amazing show...one of the 5 that were actually stellar on that tour....

Unfortunately, your right. But it would be cool. The 2003 Led Zeppelin DVD is one of my fave music DVD's because it has hours of concerts from the different eras and they did incorporate bootleg footage with the pro stuff. How cool would it be to have a VH DVD with stuff from 77 through the present, to see the evolution from the Dave years through the Sammy years and even the Gary period? Yeah, I know its more likely that a monkey will be in my next bowel movement.............

Anything from the FW tour. Oakland's got a partic special place for me since I was there and it'd be nice to have my memories preserved on dvd instead of my head!

Well if the guys would be more willing to turn loose stuff from the vault they wouldn't have this backlog of releases now would they?
