I have all their discs and they are a pretty good band, but nothing really special or exciting. Just a solid modern rock band with a little sleeze to give em some 80's credibility. They have had about 2 or 3 strong radio singles that I know of. Their most recent disc is better than their second, but most likely not as good as the first one was(My Opinion).

I've seen these guys a several times live over the past several years. The first time I saw them in a club in KC probably 13-14 years ago (yikes, has it been than long? ). It was the current POM only in name. Wes is the only one from that lineup that ended up on "Come Clean". Wes didn't touch a guitar that night, as I recall, doing his best on stage imitation of Sebastian Bach.

I thought they were good, and picked up the CD they were selling then, but didn't think much more about them until I heard "Control" on the radio several years later.

I've seen them a couple of times since then. They put on a great live show. Come Clean was a great record, but IMO the records since then are only ok, with bright spots here and there.

Default It's Puddle of Mudd.. with 2 d's!

I have seen them a couple of times myself. The first time they played with Papa Roach and Hinder.. we left right after Hinder came on because they sucked so bad. I thought POM did a good job.. not great.. but good. Last month when I saw them it was at a very small venue... in a pasture to be quite honest with maybe 75 people if that... and they put on one of the best shows I have seen live! I think they really like the smaller crowds. They were totally into the crowd... having a great time.. and Wes played guitar. He was the one playing in Psycho. I would see them again for sure!

    she fucking hates me...

Just weeks before his third wedding anniversary, Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin has filed for divorce from his smokin' hot model wife.

Scantlin filed divorce docs in L.A. County Superior Court Tuesday ... seeking to end his marriage to model/host Jessica Nicole Scantlin. The two married back in 2008.

Scantlin had previously referred to Jessica as "my little muse" -- claiming she inspired a bunch of his songs.

Calls to Scantlin have not been returned.

Why do these guys insist on getting married??? Do they really think in the back of their mind that they can beat the odds???

Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin Arrested For Felony Vandalism

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin has done it again. The rocker, famous for such songs as 2002 hit "She Hates Me," has been arrested multiple times over the past few years for a litany of offenses ranging from domestic abuse to cocaine possession.

Yesterday (July 24), Scantlin again found himself on the wrong side of the law, this time after the 41-year-old had it out with a neighbor, defacing the neighbor's property in the process.

Scantlin reportedly revved up a buzz saw and picked up a sledgehammer to have at a concrete wall the singer claims was built on his property.

Sgt. Albert Gonzalez of the LAPD confirmed to Radio.com that Scantlin was indeed booked into the Hollywood Community Police Department on the charge of felony vandalism.

    ======================================

"She Hates Me" -- part two?

Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin found himself behind bars Wednesday after police responded to a call from a neighbor, alleging that the rocker had taken a buzz saw to her patio. The 41-year-old was booked and later released, telling TMZ cameras: "My neighbor vandalized my house, so I had to take action."

Asked why he used a buzz saw to attack his neighbor's property, Scantlin retorted: "It's called a sledgehammer, dawg."

That neighbor, unnamed until now, turns out to be electro-pop recording artist Sasha Gradiva. The singer turned heads on the red carpet of this year's Grammy Awards, earning her the nickname "Gun Girl."

"This has been going on for a while, a few months. I didn't really want to talk about it," Gradiva tells The Hollywood Reporter of her run-ins with Scanlin. "I just focus on my music, but yesterday was just completely ridiculous."

According to reports, Scantlin used a buzz saw to vandalize Gradiva's patio and took a sledgehammer to a cinder block wall between the two properties. Scantlin reportedly was upset because he believed that the wall had been erected on his side of the property line.

But according to Gradiva, it's not the first time Scantlin has pulled such a move on her property, which is under construction. In fact, Gradiva claims that Scantlin has attacked her home "10 times, minimum."

"I called the police multiple times," says Gradiva. "Every time, he would run into his house and lock the doors and he wouldn't open them … Police couldn't exactly get him for my call, but yesterday they got him. He literally was jumping from my patio to his roof, and [police officers] were running around his house to catch him."

Gradiva says she has sent multiple letters to Scantlin asking that he stop the behavior, but to no avail. It's worth noting, however, that Scantlin's alleged antics weren't always violent.

She thinks Scanlin may be jealous of the view from her patio, which sits in line with his roof — saying he once placed a tent on his roof to block that vista. Later, he erected a giant flag.

"He gets really creative with his ideas to annoy me," she says. "He put a huge flag on the border of my wall. On my side, it had the name of his band. On the other, it was an American flag. So whoever would look at it from the street would just see an American flag and from my windows, I just see a big flag with 'Puddle of Mudd' written on it."

Gradiva is taking a break from her #LOVERSWANTEDTOUR and does not maintain current residence on the property. Gradiva says her architect has been living on the property over the past few months.

Asked what prompted Scantlin to tell TMZ that she had "vandalized" his home, Gradiva says a small piece of her patio "goes behind the view line between our properties.

"But I didn't do that. I bought the house with this patio," she explains. "[My property] was built more than 10 years ago… I don't know why he decided to bother me because the previous owner, they didn't have any issues."

Gradiva says she bought the home about a year ago.

Gradiva says she's pursuing a restraining order against Scanlin after the damage to her property, and hopes sharing her side of the story will speed up the process.

"Honestly, I don't have time for this," she says of the legal process, noting that if the situation is not resolved quickly, she may be forced to sell her house.

Potential homeowners wary of buzz saws and sledgehammers need not apply.
