Default Van Halen should play Hagar area tunes !!

If they really are serious about being Van Halen they can't ignore whole parts of the histroy of this band. They need to play Hager area tunes as well. DLR can pull off, Finish what ya started, Good Enough, Summer Nights and Pondcake. And the Eddie, Wolfgang and DLR can share lead vocals on Why cant this be love, as they did with Hager. Hager always played DLR area tunes, maybe a bit reluctant to do so, but he did.

Doing some Hagar tunes would show class and show confidence and the fact they have grown over all the childish bullshit

Class? Childish? Hagar purposly butchered Roth era tunes and had to be pursuaded into playing any Roth era tunes. Now u tell me who is the childish one?

Just exactly where is the Van Hagar area? Mexico?

I don't think that will ever happen, but I'll play along:

Finish What Ya Started would be cool to see Dave do because of it's low register vocal.

I've heard the Hagar tunes live enough over the last several years to give them a rest. Save the setlist for the 6 pack.

Bottom line....People aren't buying tickets to this tour to hear Hagar tunes.

    Tell em, Slappy.

And this topic has been done to death. I'm sure you can find one of the million setlist threads we have going around here and post your opinions there.

I'm closing this before it gets ugly.
