    Default iTunes

I think I know the answer to this but I figured someone might know a runabout way. Can I burn to a DVD any of the movies, baseball highlights that my kids have purchased/downloaded from iTunes.

I could swear I read somewhere that this cannot be done with iTunes. I'd like to regain some space on their computer. And it pains me to delete things that I've purchased.

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can burn the file to a cd or dvd - it just my not be in a playable format. Try going to the actual file on your pc (not through the itunes program) and right clicking on it and send to your burner. From this point on it prolly wouldn't work in a dvd player, but it should in your pc through itunes.

You might want to buy a second, external hard drive to store a lot of this stuff, too. They're not that expensive and you can back up your whole iTunes library in case your computer crashes. This is a lifesaver, so you don't have to go thru the effort of rebuilding the library or figuring out how to get things from your iPod back on your computer.
    Nothing to see here.

this is a good idea in general...especially now that you can get portable drives you can take around with you...I know a bunch of guys who have drives that they tote around with them where ever they go so they can show (share) videos and listen to songs at other people's houses...and they're cheap...a hundred bucks or so will get you a good one...

I have MPEG Layer 2 Audio files. I can't burn them with Nero. They'll play on iTunes though. Can anyone explain to me how to make them Layer 3.

    Thanks.

OK, I've seem to have found something but I'd like your opinions regardless.

Bob just go back to 8 tracks and albums, it really is easier.

I have some great Blood Sweat & Tears stuff on 8 track. I can skip forward to songs with the puch of a button. You will never misplace a 8 track.
