Default Jet City guitar in progress

What better place that the guitar room! Looking for some feed back on this. This is one I am working on right now. Body is ultral light swamp ash , Neck is korina ( limba ) with a rosewood board, small dots . The korina has flame in it and is expensive!! I've tried many but never tried this combination of tone woods , I love to push the envelope, the finish is called spectra blue with natural masked binding. My new angled neck plate with recess. The headstock is next........

Pretty rad. I love the color. I'd prefer an all-maple neck, but i know you're trying to deviate from the norm here

Just finishing up my models with a CAD specialist for a speedloader version. I want to get this out there since all the new gear is coming up for next year. I also just put up a starter website for more info. Jetcityguitars.net Check out the optional monkey grip! I visualize Satriani plaing this !! !

i love the neckjoint...kinda like the washburn/stephenson joint which was a dream to play, the body shape is also really cool (and familiar!)..i'd buy one or happily give one a road test if u wanna send me a sample to the u.k....lmao

Love the body shape of the top one, and guess the one in the drawing, minus the monkey grip, which isn't my thing.

It sort of reminds me a little bit of the Steve Morse guitar.

I like that shape a lot, it's like a "stratified" version of the EBMM Axis.

Majestic, that is a good description. Stratified! That is what I was going for, It is good to have elements of a strat because most of the guitars we have come to know over the past 50 years are derived from a strat. Some people always thought that the ebmm was to small of a body. The strat look makes it longer looking. We are visual creatures by nature! I will set up a road test program hopefully soon.

Love the shape of the body. The neck joint does look great too. Not a fan of the monkey grip, but it's an optional thing anyway. Also not too crazy about the speedloader headstock. The natural binding I don't like either. I don't know, it just doesn't appeal to me visually. I'd be interested in this guitar, depending on pricing of course. Any plans to do a lefty version? Overall it's a cool looking design. I too have always thought that the EBMM body was too small. Fabulous guitar but it seems too small every time I see one, especially for me as I am a big person.

can we hear some clips of the korina wood number that you are working on?

may some clean, some crunch, some inbetween clips?

i'm curious how that ends up sounding against whatever pickups you choose for that.
