Default Eddie's House is being flooded......

I hope all of the old tapes and stuff are locked up in a waterproof vault!!!!!!!!

    From TMZ:

A water main broke in an L.A. suburb early this morning, sending thousands of gallons of water through the yard of a home believed to belong to music legend Eddie Van Halen. Look out below!

The gushing water snarled traffic this morning in the area around Coldwater Canyon. L.A. Fire officials said the only home affected was Van Halen's, who is currently out of town on tour.

An LAFD battalion chief said firefighters placed sandbags around the home, trying to prevent water from entering the house itself, but mud and debris filled the pool.

    Story developing ...

Time to add more tour dates!

Seriously though I hope none of his valuables like Wolfgang pictures and stuff like that that cannot be replaced are not damaged or destroyed.

Wow, I hope it's not Ed's house. If so, hopefully they'll contain it.

I wonder if Ed will fly back home and they'll have to miss show(s)?

    looks like everything is okay....

LOS ANGELES—Eddie Van Halen's home has been saved from any damage after a water main break sent thousands of gallons of water rushing through his yard and streets.
The rupture, due to a broken air valve, occurred about 1 a.m. Monday in Studio City north of Los Angeles. Water flowed down Coldwater Canyon Avenue and traveled as far as a mile away.

Fire spokesman Cecil Manresa confirmed the lone house affected by the water belongs to Van Halen. Mud and debris filled the pool and damaged a gate and block wall, but sandbags placed around the home prevented any water from entering inside.

It wasn't known if Van Halen was at home at the time.

Crews were expected to have the break fixed later Monday.

Glad to hear everything's okay. That would really suck.

How does TMZ find this stuff out anyway. Do they have a guy in the neighborhood 24 hours a day? Our obsession with celebrity news is very strange. I'm sick of it.

And yes, I see the hypocrisy of writing that on a fan site--blow me.

I seem to recall from old magazine articles that the 5150 studios are located *uphill* from the pool & backyard of his house... that being said, it would take one hell of a watermain break to wash out 5150 !

Damn, let's see: Fire a few months ago, Water as of last night, that leaves Air (a hurricane) and Earth (as in quake) to cover the elements.

Then I guess the locusts and frogs will start...

Talk about a lousy run of luck on the housing side of things.

    Nice last line there. ^

Glad Edward's home is okay, that would suck to lose anything. But at least it wasn't like it was raw sewage or anything. Now THAT would really suck.
