    Floor seats?

Has anyone had floor seats for this tour? If so, are there chairs or do you have to stand? I saw Springsteen a few weeks ago, and had floor seats, but there were no chairs! Standing for 2 + hours is no fun.

There are chairs. You will still have to stand for 2 hours unless you don't care if you see the show or not.

I think sitting down after paying $175/seat would be no fun.

I'm curious what row number on the floor starts out in front of the catwalk in the center section? Is it row 15? Row 20? Does it depend on the arena? How many rows are technically inside of the ramp?

Every arena is going to have there own system, so telling you where I was on the floor in Boston is probably going to be different from the arena you are going to. I can still give you some advice though. If you plan on sitting down, then don't bother going. You won't be able to see shit because everyone will be standing all around you.

For $184 here in Vegas, I'm thinking about taking my seat home with me after the show.

My sentiments exactly. I wonder sometimes how many of these idiots have ever been to a fucking real concert.
We train dogs for cattle and sheep herding. They're very different. Sheep are a lot like supermodels - they bunch together, they rattle very easily. Cattle are like drunks at a hockey game - two will want to fight: "Who are you and what's with your badge?"

Two of them will be like: "Leave them alone, let's go see the game." Another one is lost: "Where'd you guys go?" The dog has to deal with all of that. You work them off a whistle. It's the original video game.

Van Halen reminded us last night of why we loved them in the first place. They helped us to get past all the bullshit around us and remind us to have a little fucking fun in the midst of it all. - Reckless Fable

I've got seats in row 21 for this Saturday's show in Portland. Looking at the arena map, it looks like we're sitting right in front of the catwalk. From what I've heard people say, Dave walks out there once or twice, and that's it. Seems like they could've left the catwalk out of the stage and the view would've been better.

Honestly, I'm not sure why people are so obsessed with being on the floor. Unless you are in the first few rows or right next to the ramp, the view is much better from lower level seats that are pretty close to the stage. Especially if you have someone tall in front you.

I don't like being on the floor. Too hard to see unless you're in the front 10.

/Just thought I'd chip in my annoying two cents.
What once upon a time made Van Halen unique in the progression of metal and hard rock (besides Eddie’s prowess as a guitarist) was its sense of fun, its willingness to be not just over the top, but weird.

No - from what I've seen the setup is the same in every arena. The production brings the FLOOR with them I believe, it's been the same at every show I've been to.

Anyhow from what I've seen Row M is always the first row at the ramp (13th).

I had floor seats for the first show and side seats (second row) for the second show.

Floors are the only way to go.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -
