    Who is Ed's new tech??

We know Lonnie's out and Matty's busy running the show, but who is Ed's new tech? I've searched forums as much as I can but have never seen it.
Need to know before I head out to Enumclaw...I mean Seattle, for the big show.

    Tks!

    Mr. Clean

Everybody's blaming the Guitar Tech on this tour but I'll give you one simple example: Wolfie, a kid who has NEVER played in venues this big is having NO problems....yet Guitar Hero Legend Innovator Daddy can't work out the kinks.....it ain't the tech's fault folks..........

    Default Ed's Tech Problems

Hate to say it, but I think I know why Ed is having monitor problems on this tour; Ed is married to the past. I bet he's got those amps blasting loud and they are feeding back through his monitor. That's why he moved over to Al's area of the stage -- the monitor would be out of the direct line of fire of that wall of amps.

P.A. systems today give performers a very clean stage sound at reasonable volumes -- but I would bet my bottom dollar, they require the amps to be at a moderate volume. Eddie still thinks he needs a chord to his amps, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was playing them way louder than the P.A. is built to handle. Thta's why Pete Townsend is back to playing electric guitar after years of acoustic; he can play at a reasonable volume now.

Solution: turn down, or move the monitor.

What you are saying sounds plausible. He jettisoned that PA at the NJ show right in front of me. Probably they do suffer from feedback in the old location. Ed seems to have solved that issue entirely by moving close to Alex.

But shouldn't the crew know the limitations of the equipment before the stage show is dedicated? Just wondering.

The amps on stage are just for show. The actual amp Ed's using is in a rack off stage. Output is only going to a couple of cabinets on stage that are mic'ed.

If anything is feeding back it would be Ed's stage mic for singing. It should have a proximity switch on it when he's not singing. But he spends much more time in front of his effects pedals... over-using the Flanger and the fucking Wah crutch...

His backline crew should be able to fix the issues without relocating him on stage...

Maybe Ed should hire some of you guys.... i mean you do sound like you have all the answers.I wouldn't count on Ed knowing what he's doing, he's only been doing it his whole life.I wouldn't listen to a clueless 19 yr ol kid either.
Wonder the last time he's played in a situation like this?
