    Default The Website has Merchandise!

Looks like the same stuff from the tour.

    Finally.

    (Hope this wasn't posted already.)

Here is a direct link: https://secure.feamerch.com/stores/vanhalen/

There's a little message on there that says "Stock will be available shortly. Orders will ship upon receipt." LOL

Van Halen has the worst merchandise.....horrible lookin stuff.
Actually I think most of us are Dave, Sam, and Mike fans. There's just a small group of people who have strange allegiances and like to get into petty pissing contests that I can't believe everyone on this site isn't bored of. - Brett

    The wristband's cool.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.

Totally agree. The merch was great on the 2004 tour. This stuff is all bad and expensive.

More than likely because it costs twenty bucks for a pair of them.

    So fucking what.

The band wants to make some cash. And what better way to do it than to sell expensive merchandise 'cause most fans will eat it up.

    Just ask Gene Simmons.

I don't mind expensive merch that's exclusive to the band's website.....but wristbands, trucker hats, horrible looking jackets.

How about a cool Columbia windbreaker that's waterproof and has a small VH logo on the left side.

How about some cool sandals with the VH logo on them?

How about a cool travel mug.

How about simple white tees with the VH logo....

Vinnie, your praise of all things DLR/classic VH is appalling.

I understand that you are a huge fan of classic VH. But the merch from this tour sucks and whether you like it or not, the Sam era logo and merch was more fashionable and reasonably priced.

How 'bout a velcro wallet to match the wristband?

First of all, the new VH shirts are better than 2004 (other than the quality).

2nd, they are getting $0 from me due to the price. I would have paid $20. Maybe thousands of others are in the same boat. I believe they are pricing it too high, lowering their profit. They could make more money lowering the price. What is better, selling 2000 shirts for $35 each or selling 8000 at $20 each (considering the shirt may cost $2 to produce and ship)?

See below from Wikipedia of course...

By increasing the price beyond a price point sales volume decreases by an amount more than proportional to the price increase. This decrease in quantity demanded more than offsets the additional revenue from the increased unit price. As a result, total revenue decreases when a firm raises its price beyond a price point. Technically, the price elasticity of demand is low (inelastic) at a price lower than the price point (steep section of the demand curve), and high (elastic) at a price higher than a price point (gently sloping part of the demand curve). It is a common marketing strategy for a firm to set prices at existing price points.
    Right here I say....

Yeah cuz sandals just scream rock n roll! Though ya might find some at a Wabos show, what with the whole Jimmy Buffet "beach thing" Sam's going for.

Columbia windbreaker? Screams "old people". C'mon, it's always been t-shirts, hats, wristbands, hoodies. Though in the 80's we had those god-awful headbands and fairground mirrors and tapestries. Thank God those have gone the way of the 45.
