Default Are There Chairs For Floor Seats?

I am going to be buying tickets for the New Jersey show on November 3rd, and I want to get floor tickets. However, I cannot stand constanly for 2+ hours. Are there chairs (like the fold-up kind) placed for each person on the floor, and are you supposed to stand the entire time. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, there are seats, yet you may find yourself in a situation where several folk in front of you stand at various points of the show. You should be able to sit up, placing your feet upon the seat and using the backrest as a "seat".

If this is indeed a medical condition, perhaps you could mention that you have a handicap, and may be given preferential seating. Yet this would include documentation, similar to needing a handicapped permit for parking in thus designated spaces.

If the situation is that dire, have you considered using a wheelchair? This certainly would provide you with a possible compromise.

I hope this offers you some assistance, and wish you well with the experience.

Okay...I'm sorry...I have to chime in here.....

Are you saying you can't stand for 2+ hours? at a Van Halen concert???

I TOTALLY understand if this is a medical condition....and if it is...may I suggest do not buy floor seats as you will have a much better time in the lower/upper seats.
    Yes

Yes there are seats - GA shows are for younger audiences. However you won't be able to see much when sitting, unles you are front row.

You should consider a side (not floor) seat. Even there though people tend to enjoy the show by standing.

If you have a health problem talk to guest services maybe they can seat you in a Handicapped spot. But there really aren't any on the floor so don't waste your money on a front floor seat.

The good old days of no seats on the floor. Just push your way to the front but I think The Who had a little problem with this back in the day.

Just for the sake of historical accuracy, the people crushed to death at the Who show were crushed in the entranceway to the coliseum.
There were floor seats, but it was festival seating. First come, first served.
The Who did a late sound-check, and the crowd outside thought the concert had started, so they started pushing forward and some people got crushed against the gate. Then the security guards opened the gate to relieve the pressure and everybody made a mad dash for it and some more people got crushed.

Ah, the good old days of festival seating. A friend of mine once got mashed against a glass door at an AC/DC concert so hard that the safety glass shattered and he fell right through. The security guards picked him up and brushed him off and let him have first pick of the seats. He was a little bruised the next day, but he got to sit front row center, so it was worth it.
