Default Best night of the '04 tour?

Here's a question for you: Out of all the nights that Van Halen played in 2004, which show was the most "on" musically and featured Eddie's best playing? I saw them play in Hershey, and Eddie was pretty damn sloppy. Definitely not at his best, needless to say.

I was at the Hershey show also. I agree that Ed didn't sound too good that night. IMO, Hersheypark stadium was the worst venue I've ever been to a concert in.

They were better when they played here in Biloxi on 5 Sep 04.

What is really the point of still discussing the 2004 tour and how sloppy it may have been? Dude has given us VH fans how many years of touring? Lets just move on... However, for the record, I was at both Worcester Mass shows and I thought the over all show was good. Not great, not the best i've seen, but still good rock and roll.

I saw them twice at the Meadowlands, NJ and twice in Philly early in the tour. Decent.

I thought their show at the Borgata on Labor Day weekend (aside from Eddie's solo) was awesome. Great sound and performance and it was outdoors!

The 2007 tour kicked it's ass though.

The first Staples Center show was VERY good. The best I heard Ed play all tour.

Toronto...the band was in good spirits and Ed was pretty on most of the night...75-80 percent...but still not great like this tour!

I AGREE THE TORONTO SHOW WAS A FUN SHOW, BUT ED WAS FAR FROM HIS BEST. HIS PLAY WAS KIND OF DISGUISED BY THE FACT THE BAND WERE ALL IN SUCH GOOD SPIRITS.

SUNDAY WAS AMAZING, WHO WOULD EVER THINK VAN HALEN HAVING FUN ON STAGE WITH DAVE WHILE PLAYING THE TUNES SO WELL. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT A GREAT SHOW THEY GAVE US.

Saw both stlouis shows and they were pretty energetic and entertaining. Not the best I've seen Ed, but was great to see him having fun. 1st night was a little tighter than 2nd though. 2nd night was kinda like Sam knowing it was the last time he would be in stlouis w/VH judging by the excessive signing and t-shirt wearing he did. He prob did all that stuff twice as much as the 1st night. I thought that really detracted from the music, I think Mike probably had to cover him at least 20 times during the second night while he was busy w/ the crowd and stuff.

    I saw them 3 times in 2004.

I thought the Hamilton show was the best. Actually, it was one the the best I've ever seen.

Toronto was horrid and Winnipeg was very bad and rigid.
One noticeable difference between Judas Priest and Metallica...
...Judas Priest only has one gay guy in the band.
