Default Has the Big Black Box been Removed?

One of the reviewers in the 10/3 Philly review thread suggested the black monitor cabinets on each outer front corner of the stage might have been removed or placed elsewhere last night.

If so, I would guess they've had more than a fair number of complaints.

I'm waiting for Philly night 2 videos to appear on YouTube for visual evidence, but I'm just curious.

    Can anyone else confirm this?

Yeah I'd like to know as well since my seats in STL are next to the stage. Can you tell from the videos in Philly (I can't watch them right now)?
CNN may think my opinion matters, but you shouldn't.

I'm next to the stage in St. Louis too. Section 102 row F, seats 1 and 2. Without the monitor, they're great seats and exactly where I wanted to sit.

I'm actually hoping my seats are far enough right so I can see behind the monitors/box/obstruction and get a good look at Ed. From the Philly videos it sure looks like it's there to me, but there aren't any really great shots of it. Hard to tell.

Yes - These FOUR side fill monitors are not going anywhere soon and will block the view if you happen to be sitting in the wrong area... Two on each side of the stage, one of which is on the stage and one hanging...

Yup he's right. I noticed them on Friday night at Mohegan Sun.
I used to jog but the ice cubes kept falling out of my glass.

Well I'm concerned because my seats in STL are the side section closest to the stage. I wouldn't have normally picked up those seats, but Ticketmaster is a blood sucking whore and sold all the good seats to brokers. Therefor, when I logged in at 10:00:02 at the ticketmaster site, that was the crap that was best available. It would be nice if they could give me an unobstructed view for the $340 dollars I spent for two seats--the same price they sold the GOOD seats to brokers.

    Yeah, I'm just bitching.

I'm hoping they aren't blocking too much, but I respect the need for it since Ed is actually trying to sing harmonies with Wolf.

Imagine spending a large amount of cash, and then you find yourself six seats to the left of this guy... All you'd see it the top of Ed's head all night...
