    Default Wolfgang's Bass Amps??

Did they make an EVH5150 Bass amp for Wolf?

I'm assuming the stacks behind him on stage are his Bass amps but they look exactly like Ed's. Unless it's just for show.

    Anyone know?

I was surprised someone hadn't brought this up until now.

I think the amps behind Wolfgang are just 5150 IIIs. He could be playing through them, or they could be mocks--maybe there's an SVT or something Fender off-stage, or maybe he's going direct via a Sans Amp. Is Wolf using in-ear monitors?

I've played bass through my 5150s and 4x12s. It sounds cool. Not necessarily ideal, but it does sound good for some applications.

I doubt wolfie will be playing through those, lets not forget this is now a store front for the evh range My take is wolfie is either line feeding his signal direct or to a bass amp backstage, he might be using some of the cabs as fold back with bass speakers in?

Got to play the new 5150 yesterday, very impressed, but as for the 'Frankie'... what a mess for the price

Actualy every cab on stage is dead! They mic the bottom corner of a 4x12 cab back stage! The heads on stage usually have the power lights on, but just to look sweet!

I don't think so. I know they are not all on because it's for show. But I think at least 3 are on. Look at the pic in post #45

    http://www.vhlinks.com/vbforums/the-...rehearsal+pics

You can see they are mic'd up. They haved to be on or he could'nt get feedback.......... Then again with that amp he could probably get feedback from a mile away.

Those are 5150 III stacks behind Wolf. He's likely running direct. Ed is using the bottom three 4x12s on the outside on his side. It's his normal w/d/w system (dry middle cab and stereo FX on the left and right).

If you like cool, rock music, check out REVERY. We've put out two albums, and an EP. We were signed back in '06 and toured the US (our single Popstar Wedding was all over the radio back then). Our latest album, Adora De Phonic is available on Itunes, Amazon, etc.

I remember that setup on the 3 tour.

Yup. The brands and some of the effects have changed, but the basic setup is the same.
