I feel your pain. Pinto's were everywhere one looked. Yet I had a '74 Gremlin, in bright orange with a white stripe down the side. I dunno, part of me wishes that I still had it...

Gremlins, Pintos, Pacers: Makes you wonder if the 70's drug culture affected the auto designers as well.

Having spent much time in LA, I can vouch for that. However, LA did give the world Aqua-Net Helmut Hair.

Mustang II = disposable wannabe muscle car.

my cousin had a Gremlin, practically new...and a friend of mine in HS had one, in much worse shape. i always liked them.

AMC paid the bills for a long time (Dad worked for Jeep) so i have a hard time slagging them. we had a Pacer evaluation model...a Hornet...mom bought a Matador wagon once they got divorced...and we always had Jeeps.

Glad to see Yugo on there. I had the "pleasure" of driving one of those once. Nothing says cheap quite like cardboard door panels & optional heating.

    Mustang II - JUNK.....

    BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody wants that suspension now who is modifying an older car (street rod or resto-mod Mustang). Best suspension Ford ever developed.

I wonder how much money Ford made on that suspension set up?

About the same that they had to pay out to Pinto owners for making the bumpers out of flint.
