Default I prefer it completely live for this tour

Please dont pipe in any music, or have pre-recorded tracks. Curious on other peoples thoughts on this, do you think they will ? Will there be a "behind the curtain" keyboardist ?

The boys need to play completely live, let Ed play the synth on JUMP.

How about some "Sunday Afternoon in the Park" with Ed on Keys and Al doin his thing.

When I saw the thread title, I thought you were talking about Keith Richards.

How about they don't play Jump, and we don't need to worry about it!

I'm more worried about backing vocals being pre-recorded. The key-boardist behind the curtain is never a good thing but vocals should never be anything but live.
Signature not currently available. You aren't missing much.

I have a feeling that they will do some pre-recording for this tour. "Jump" immediately comes to mind of course. I remember in 2004 someone during the soundcheck at one of the Detroit shows asked Eddie about this, and Eddie responded by saying that even though for songs like Jump and Dreams there was some pre-recording done, that it was done fresh for each show the morning of so that each concert had a little uniqueness to it. We'll see, but I think the smart money says that Ed has his guitar through the entire show. I suppose there could be the "keyboardist behind the curtain", but I would guess its done similar to the '04 tour. That's how Van Halen did it last, and I think thats how Dave has done it for at least his last few solo tours as well.

i don't think that is even a possibility, why would they? wolf is supposed to be a great singer and ed is good too (at least when not shitfaced)
Any musicians near Boston / Cape Cod want to get together and play some VH? I play drums, guitar, keyboard, bass, and I sing. I want to start a VH tribute band. Contact me if interested.
