I live here and live oh.., 10 minutes from the track. Unlike most from other states I could give a fuck about the track. Been to many times to care. Like the pool in your backyard, swim at your buddy's place then put the pool in at your place and still want to swim at your buddy's!

As for VH here at Conseco, not good. Acoustics are 1 notch above unlistenable. Every concert I've seen there sucks. Too bad they couldn't do the shed thing this year! It's so much better at Verizon Music Center!

I totally agree about the sound at Conseco.
Not meant for a good rock concert.
    But, I'll still be there.
The 2004 show in Fort Wayne (Memorial Coliseum) was literally the loudest thing I've ever witnessed... and I'm a drummer since age 10.
The Indy show will sell out in mere minutes...

I haven't been to Conseco before. That sucks that the acoustics are bad, but it is the only date I can make so far. Hopefully, they'll add a show in Cincinnati or a weekend show in Lexington, Louisville, or Columbus.

Bruce Springsteen was the first act ever to play at Conseco. In the next day's paper the music critic wrote that he was surprised that Springsteen hadn't played "Born in the USA".

Actually, he had played an acoustic version of the song, and the sound was so bad the reviewer couldn't tell what it was.

The first time I saw Van Halen live was in Cincinnati in '92, they opened with 5150 and I didn't realize what song it was until it was almost over. Not because the accoustics were bad, it was just so loud that my virgin ears had to take a minute to adjust.

BTW, somebody said Cleveland tickets go on sale Saturday (even though Ticketmaster and Live Nation still say "TBA". If that is true, I'm assuming Indy tickets will go on sale then as well.

I'm on LiveNation's email list and have received no notice so far.
I really hope the sound won't ruin the show.
I was in 4th grade when 1984 came out.
Too young to see VH with Dave live.

I grew up at Market Square.
    (Raised by the Bear Force.)

I can still picture walking up the ramp into the arena and catching my first glimpse of the stage through the massive cloud of smoke that was perpetually hovering in the air above the crowd. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

I thought "The Who" sounded pretty good at Conseco this last spring.
