    Default Vox Tonelab

I've been looking for an all-in-one amp modeler/effects unit (for headphone playing and recording only) to replace my fading Digitech RP-1.

Everything I've heard points to one of the Vox Tonelab boxes.

Anyone have any experience with these?

The Vox tonelab is a great piece of equipment. It is by far the most realistic sounding floor model I have ever heard. There are also sites that you can upload patches etc. It's got a real simple interface and you can dial in everything from Metal to country chicken pickin sounds. I use mine for both gigs and at home. It has lines out for everything and I run it directly into the board and turn it on, that simple. It comes with a handy little tote bag and I simply carry back and forth with ease! I got so sick of carrying amps and pedals and all that shit. This was the answer. By the way if you want to hear how it can be played especially to Halen go to http://hem.bredband.net/kentcarlevi/ this go is awesome. He also has all his patch info ready to download off his site!
