You'll love it. It covers each band member's birth to when Dave left. It's a good CVH history lesson.

I have it. It's okay, it's worth watching once or twice. I wish it had interviews with the band and Van Halen music on it.

It's definitely worth watching. It does leave you wanting more though. It has no clips with the actual guys talking.

It doesn't actually show him during interviews, but they have Al talking quite a bit on it.

It's worth watching, I think I did twice. What would be cool is if they played either the whole dvd or a part of it for an opener if they do indeed tour with DLR. No opening band, just the history of where one of the greatest rock-n-roll bands came from and then.............UNCHAINED.

Yeah great history lesson. I agree with the comments about more interviews, etc. or even some concert footage. That woulda been nice. It's pretty kewl to watch anyways, particularly if you want some learning on the VH history.

    This was pretty good.

The most annoying comment comes from Alex in regards to "Dancin' in the Streets", how its not a VH song, and it shouldnt have been on Diver Down, etc.

You gotta' be kidding me Al.

    I couldnt beleive my ears.

Is it true that there is no VH music because the VH bros. wouldnt let them use it ? Sorry, I cant remembe all the details.

All in all though, this is a good documentary.

I have to agree with Al. "Dancin' In The Streets" Doesn't belong on a VH album. They made it sound better than the original, but they're own music is one million times better.

Lol....Well, even though I agree with Al, ever cover VAN FREAKIN HALEN did sounds a heck of a lot better than the original did. They put such an incredible spin on every single one that they've ever done!!!
