What? when has VH ever been a jam band? The fact is, WVH is solid, at least as solid as AVH. The rest is up to EVH.

    Who knows

Nah, its not me. Whats the point of creating an alias and posting four times under it? Even when you've never been banned from the site and the name is almost EXACTLY the same.

    Its pretty bizarre, though.

It's like speculating on how good a President Barack Obama would make if he were elected. Fans don't really have any solid evidence one way or the other how he'll do.

Nobody outside a few insiders who saw or heard the rehearsal session with Roth late last year truly knows how good or bad Wolfgang is on bass or backing vocals for that matter. All that can be speculated on as far as his playing ability is Eddie's rather over-the-top praise and Wolfgangs' occasional performances with his dad during Eddie's solo during some of the '04 shows which frankly showed a very nervous kid tentatively playing guitar with a rank beginner's skill.

Add to that the seeming unwillingness on the part of Eddie and the band to showcase any sort of song sample or footage of Wolfgang playing bass with the band likely right up to the first time this lineup plays in front of the public and things do not point in an encouraging direction.

He's been jammin with Ed & Al since he was a little guy, I don't know about you guys, but if I had some musical influence from those two I think it would make all the difference in the world! Chioce of any guitar, bass, or drums you want, and to sit in with them as they just have a good time jammin, not haveing to give a shit if anyone will even like it! When you relax, and just have fun, thats when your best stuff comes out! I'd give my left nut to jam with them!

So true. However, playing actual songs in front of 10,000 people a night is an entirely different thing now isn't it? Especially given the pressure of replacing a very solid Bass player, great singer, and arguably the most popular member of the group. I just hope he can handle the pressure. This is the type of thing that can seriously fuck up a young person for a long, long time. I won't be seeing any of these shows, but I wish Wolfie the best.
