Default OT: local CT guys - my band and RATT

    hey what's up guys,
there's a pretty good chance that my band megahertz www.mhzrock.com is going to open for RATT on friday
9/7 at toad's place in New Haven (depending on how they structure the ticket prices), any idea if any of you local Connecticut guys would be interested in checking it out...if we end up doing it it'll be like $5 or $10 a ticket...once we get the discount passes i could mail them out to you

it's all the original guys in ratt (that count) - warren (lead guitar) and pearcy's back on vocals...corabi (from motley crue on rhythm guitar) blotzer (the original drummer) and robbie crane on bass
    let's be real...EVH was GOD

Runnin' might put too much focus on the fact that there's a little kid on bass - knuck

I see three bona fide ROCK GODS, and then somebody's kid. - CaboTime

I'm going to see Ratt tonight in Wallingford with Poison but if they are any good maybe I'll check them out again in New Haven.

I though some band called ... about Jenna was opening ?
What happened to that band ? White Lion was on the bill but removed because Vito Bratta sued Mike Tramp.

Anyway will be at the Atlantic City show on July 27th.

Veins of Jenna is the opener. He's talking about his band opening for RATT when they do their own club tour without the Poison Glamor Queens.

Sounds like a cool band and I would be interested in seeing them. I would be coming from Jersey. How long of a ride from New York City....
Assume no traffic since it will be long after rush hour.

The last time I paid to see them was sometime in the 80's with Pearcy singing. I got to see them again when a band I was managing about 4 years ago opened for them at a club here in CT and the singer was some guy named Jizzy Pearl. Since I was the manager I didn't have to pay and thank god because they sucked.
I did pay to see them 2 nights ago opening for Poison and they totally rocked. They put on a great set with alot of their earlier stuff. They blasted through the first 4 or 5 songs without even stopping. I would pay to see them again after that performance.

Opening for poison. Man is that a kick in the nuts. I saw Poison open for Ratt at Madison Square Garden. That's gotta' suck!

True, yet like VH, they've no-one to blame but themselves. The years of having two bands running around playing Ratt tunes surely did some damage.

That's a pretty good comparison. Never thought of it like that. Maybe in a few years they can open for Def Leppard!
