Default 22 Year Old Stabbed to Death at Local Nightclub

Yeah, and we were voted the best place in America to raise a family.

Police arrest suspect in nightclub murder
Findlay police took a 19-year-old man into custody Friday morning on a murder charge, about seven hours after he allegedly stabbed a local man to death in a parking lot outside Brandy's Cafe, 1101 W. Main Cross St.
Police Lt. Chuck Wilson said Aaron H. Hernandez, address unknown, is being held at the Hancock County jail in connection with the murder of Andrew C. Coleman, 22, of 1336 Logan Ave.
The two men had apparently been involved in a fight in the parking lot when the stabbing occurred as the bar was closing at 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Hancock County Prosecutor Mark Miller said Friday that Hernandez will likely have his initial court appearance Monday in Findlay Municipal Court.
Coleman was pronounced dead at about 3 a.m. Friday, shortly after he was taken by ambulance to Blanchard Valley Hospital.
He had suffered a stab wound to his upper chest and was reportedly unresponsive when police officers and MedCorp EMTs arrived at a parking lot on the east side of Brandy's at about 2:35 a.m. Friday. Findlay Fire Department EMTs assisted MedCorp in the resuscitation efforts.
The arrest of Hernandez, at about 9:30 a.m. Friday, came at a friend's residence in McComb. Police went there after witnesses provided a description of the suspect and the vehicle he was seen leaving Brandy's in.
Police said Hernandez did not resist arrest.
There were several eyewitnesses to the stabbing, according to police, and many other witnesses in the parking lot at the time of the fight.
Police said the motive was not yet clear Friday.
Police said they didn't have a current address for Hernandez. He is not believed to be from the area, but police were told he had occasionally stayed at the residence where he was found Friday.
Detectives went back to the McComb house Friday afternoon after obtaining a search warrant through municipal court. Wilson did not disclose what, if anything, was found during the search, but police were presumably looking for the murder weapon and other evidence of the crime.
Police said officers had not recovered the knife used in the assault prior to the search of the home.
Five police units had responded to the crime scene after initially receiving the fight call, and found Coleman lying in the parking lot on the southeast side of the building. After EMTs arrived, officers began collecting names of witnesses, and searching nearby yards for evidence.
Police said the entire incident occurred outside the bar. It was not disclosed if Coleman and Hernandez had been inside the club prior to the fight, or if they knew each other.
The homicide was the first recorded in Findlay in 2007.

We had an incident here a while back where a couple of guys had gotten into a bar fight and one of the guys died. Supposedly the guy that beat the guy up that died is a real hothead, and it didn't surprise many people that this sort of thing happened.

I don't think we'll ever understand how people get pushed or let themselves get pushed to such a point. About a year ago a guy was beaten to death--with a pool cue--in a Bennigan's just down the road from my apartment. That's just damn violent.
