    Default Bon Jovi audio wanted

Does anyone know a good site that has rare Bon Jovi on it to download? Just looking for songs I do not have to put on a cd.

Why would you want to do that?

There is another universe where Bon Jovi never existed. Sounds like a cool place.

The fact that VH opened for Bon Jovi in Europe in '95 means absolutely nothing. The Europeans are a different breed, and VH simply isn't as big over there as they are here. Besides, if I remember correctly, this was a festival type event and they both played for the same length of time, that hardly qualifies as "opening" in my opinion. I remember seeing Dave open for Bad Company back in '99. He only got like 45 minutes while Bad Co played for nearly 2 hours, now that's opening for someone.

"In 1995 Van Halen surprised many fans by supporting Bon Jovi on their European summer stadium tour."

    That's tour, not a festival.

If VH simply isn't as big in Europe as they are here...then play smaller damn shows instead of opening for Bon Jovi.

I don't see anything wrong with opening for a re-united Bad Company. I do see somethin' really gone wrong with a band that was once the mighty Van Halen...opening for Bon Jovi.

Van Rothin' opened for Black Sabbath in '78.
Van Rothin' opened for The Rolling Stones in '81.

By the way, that was not a reunited Bad Co, it was a couple of original members with some hired side guys and no Paul Rogers, that's not Bad Company, kind of in the same way you think Van Halen without Dave is not Van Halen. I still say Van Halen NEVER opened for Bon Jovi!

Eddie Van Halen should never, never open for Ritchie Sambora.

I may be incorrect on the date, but Paul Rodgers was NOT there. I was and I would remember that. The show was at a casino for christ's sakes, do you think a reunited Bad Company would play a 1000 seat theatre in a casino? You're right EVH should never open for Sambora or anyone else for that matter, and he NEVER has!

Perhaps godisEd is referring to that "BadCo-Lite" version with Mick Ralphs and Simon Kirk? I think the singer was Brian Howe. Ralphs quit rather quickly, and was replaced. Then I think Ralphs returned and Howe then left, and the thing ran it's course.

Paul Rogers and Simon Kirk got together in 2002 for the excellent "Merchants Of Cool" live album/dvd.
