Default Cool Article On Al Qaeda's Targeting Calulis

This is a great article about how Al Qaeda picks it's targets.

    http://www.cns.miis.edu/pubs/week/070417.htm

The goal is to undermine the American economy. It's simply the best article I've seen on the subject.

    Check it out.

A trillion dollars wasted on Iraq and terrorism has increased worldwide since Chimpy has been in office. NOTHING they have done has made this country even 1% safer. They won't inspect the seaports (but they'll try to subcontract it out to TERRORIST FUNDING COUNTRIES). They won't do shit to secure the US borders, but they'll build 14 permanent military bases in a country they shouldn't have been in to begin with.

And they'll stand by with their thumbs up their asses while the oil companies bend this country's entire economy over and fuck it up the ass, and then the whore media tells you the "economy is strong" because THE GODDAMNED FUCKING OIL COMPANIES ARE MAKING RECORD PROFITS.

The Bush Criminal Empire is giving Al Qaeda exactly what they want. Assuming Al Qaeda even exists, which is debatable itself.

    Default What's...

...particularly encouraging about an article like this is the stupidity of these terrorists and how many opportunities they constantly miss at seriously injuring the US.

Thankfully, most of the terrorists we've had to combat thus far are morons. The US, being a fully open society, is as vulnerable as a eight and one-half month pregnant woman. We are so totally helpless in so many areas it is nigh unto a miracle that we haven't been hit again.

Food/water supply. Shipping. Telecommunications. Power grid. Refineries. Chem plants. Haz mat. Retail. Mass transit. Schools and universities. I could go on and on. Think, for instance, how badly one idiot truck driver and a tanker full of gasoline has FUBARed the entire Oakland highway system?

The US has so many soft targets that there simply is no practical way of stopping independent terrorist attacks against these areas. We simply have no honest answers. And the very laws that guarantee our individual rights are the same laws that largely prevent the US from effectively countering independent terrorist activities against these soft targets.

Not a bad article, though it seems like CFR boy Flynn is trying to prey on fear as well. I really don't trust ANY of those globalist-corporatist assholes. But the article DOES illustrate one thing perfectly well.... THIS is the type of shit which should have been done in the first place, NOT invading countries which had nothing to do with 9-11-01. Now there's no money to actually do anything about terrorism, because it's all been wasted on that shit. (and tax cuts for the non taxpaying ultra rich, but that's another thread)

Where Flynn goes too far in his article is his not too subtle suggestion that it's our constitutional rights which put us at risk for attacks. Well that's complete and utter bullshit. For one thing, we're not securing the borders, the seaports, the refineries, the nuclear plants, etc. And that can all be done under existing laws. Furthermore, look at all the countries world wide who are NOT being attacked by terrorists.

Most if not all of them have more Liberal governments and secular societies than the US. They have more "freedoms" than us, yet the terrorists don't "hate them for their freedoms", do they?

Of course these countries also don't have a government which thinks it owns the entire fucking planet and has done a great deal to rape and pillage the resources of that planet.

Chimpy said in his 2000 campaign that he would have a "humble foreign policy". Of course he was lying his ass off. Imagine if the next President actually meant it. Might be a good place to start.

There is no single country who's citizens have more individual freedom than we do.

The Islamic Terrorist have all had college educations, which means that they've been indocrinated by leftist misconceptions about the United States: We lost Vietnam, the Soviets were a myth created by the CIA and so on. The problem is that this is all they know or care to learn, and it plays into their ideology that all of the problems in their own countries are the United State's fault.

Al Qaeda's primary beef with the United States is based on their rabid anti-semitism. Their word-use mirror's Mein Kampf, instead of Jewish controll and puppets of the great Hebrew conspircay they use American Corperate Interests (Corpertations, in their minds, are all run by American Jews). Since the United States supports Israel we are targeted. The World Trade Center was targeted because AQ figured that it was where the most Jews were.

The Dutch were the single greatest colonial powers and they remained so up until the 1970s, followed by the UK, Spain, Portugal, Italy and France. The US joined this game in the 1950s, and even though we didn't enslave or murder the local populaton in the countries we did business in we somehow have gotten a bad rap. When you look into what the problem is, its because we brought American-style education into their countries. So instead of Boy-only going to class to study the Koran, boys AND girls went to class to read and learn blasphomies of math and science.

They do try to attack other countries, it's just that in those countries the governments aren't restricted by the Civil Rights that hamper our government in terrorist investigations (horay for us). I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Liberal Dogma Corrupts U.S. Schools

    Paul Crespo
    Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007

"Indoctrination U.: The Left's War Against Academic Freedom"
    Author: David Horowitz
    Publisher: Encounter Books

A hard-hitting, well documented, and persuasive description of our dysfunctional higher education system, "Indoctrination U." unmasks the leftist political indoctrination corrupting America's schools.

It describes how academic radicals with disdain for professional standards and intellectual pluralism have created a pervasive ideological agenda that violates the basic tenets of a democratic education.

The biggest culprits are entrenched primarily in the social sciences and liberal arts, but biased political rants can be found regularly in other faculties as well.

David Horowitz describes his ongoing battle to reform America's educational system by reviving the moribund standards and practices established decades ago, but mostly ignored today, to restrict political indoctrination and ensure academic freedom.

    Political Intrusion

Over the past two decades Horowitz has spoken at more than 300 universities. In the course of these visits he became increasingly concerned with "the relentless intrusion of political agendas into an academic environment where they didn't belong."

"The intellectual level has never been lower than at most liberal arts colleges today," says Horowitz. He emphasizes that on most campuses, employees and professors have academic freedom but not the students.

In response Horowitz, in 2003, began a campaign to promote intellectual diversity and return academic standards to American universities. To get there he devised an "Academic Bill of Rights" and created a national student movement with chapters on 160 college campuses. Intended to be implemented by schools voluntarily, his effort has changed the national debate on academic issues.

It also has inspired federal legislation as well as legislation in more than a dozen states. Student governments nationwide have passed similar bills.

As it gains steam, this Bill of Rights, though liberal and politically neutral, has come under vicious attack not just by radical faculty but by the left-leaning academic establishment and mainstream media. Its critics have dubbed the bill crazy, Orwellian, McCarthyist, and totalitarian.

Yet, one of the bill's primary tenets, "No faculty shall be hired or fired or denied promotion or tenure on the basis of their political or religious beliefs," would clearly protect against McCarthyism from the right or left. But apparently few of its rabid critics have actually read his Bill of Rights, which is provided in full as an appendix.

Horowitz colorfully details the irrational and unjustified personal attacks launched against him in order to discredit his effort.

Before he commenced his speech at the University of Chicago, a student leader gave the absurd warning that a "safe room" was available should the speaker's words prove too offensive for them. At a Reed College debate, Horowitz was aggressively rebutted by the Dean who had little to say about the Academic Bill of Rights but smeared Horowitz as a "political pornographer."

In this case the dean's unprofessional tirade was so repulsive he was forced to apologize by the college president, but that was an exception.

These attacks were fanned and intensified by the 2006 publication of another Horowitz book entitled "The Professors: The 101 Most Dangerous Academics in America." Partly due to the provocative subtitle, it was falsely labeled a "witch-hunt" and a "blacklist."

According to Horowitz though, "the real blacklist in academia exists now against conservatives."

Horowitz told NewsMax, "My academic freedom campaign has been assailed by teachers' unions and the organized left and they have subjected me to vile character assassination similar to that used against other prominent conservatives."

He adds, "The purpose of these attacks is to destroy us and our reputations rather than deal with the issues."

He says, "But I'm just a little guy." Then he adds, "look at what they did to Larry Summers, the liberal president of Harvard. Summers tried to re-establish standards and a bunch of radical feminist and totalitarian anti-intellectuals got him fired."

The lesson, Horowitz argues, was "cross the left and they will destroy you."

Some critics have claimed the bill's requirement to "expose students to the spectrum of significant scholarly viewpoints" would require universities to hire holocaust deniers, but Horowitz notes, under the current system "they are already there."

    Radical Academics Gain a Stronghold

Meanwhile, radical academics and university administrators have created entire departments that focus primarily on political activism and indoctrination rather than balanced scholarship.

These faculties mostly void of academic merit, include women's studies, black studies, Latino studies, ethnic studies, feminist studies as well peace studies. Many are populated by professors without adequate credentials, such as Ward Churchill at the University of Colorado.

Often their textbooks are highly politicized and written by non-experts. "One book on social work is simply a loony diatribe against America," says Horowitz.

Horowitz also addresses how communist doctrine masquerading as "social justice" is being imposed throughout our nation's high schools. "This movement provides an analysis of capitalism and American society that closely resembles the critiques I read in communist journals back in the 1960s," says Horowitz. "This is basically 30-year-old Marxist doctrine repackaged."

    Fighting the Good Fight

To fight this abuse Horowitz created the complementary Academic Freedom Code for K-12 Schools. "The left is at war for control of our nation's schools ó conservatives are not," he says. "Which is why education needs to be a priority for conservatives."

"Indoctrination U." is an eye-opening book. It is a case study in the political warfare methods of the radical left and the campaign to re-establish an indoctrination-free environment on our campuses. It should be required reading for everyone concerned about the future of our country.

Paul Crespo teaches political science at the University of Miami.

... may make you feel all warm and gooey inside. But there are real consequences to this way of thinking.

Did you get a chance to watch the 60 Minutes interview with George Tenet? What struck me was how the interviewer was far more concerned about the alleged "human rights violations" of terrorist prisoners by CIA operatives than he was with the information that was gathered from these interrogation techniques and how this information lead DIRECTLY to the US averting several terrorist attacks.

    Here's the point:

Liberals live their lives in the theoretical world, smoking their dope, drinking their lattes, listening to their iPods and discussing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. That's fine in the cozy, comfy, fantasy world of UC Berkeley.

But in the real world, there are real consequences. 3,000 people died on 9/11 because our intelligence community failed to acquire actionable intelligence.

I am, undoubtedly, one of the strongest, most outspoken proponents of individual rights and responsibilities that you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.

But, as unpleasant as it is for me to say this, I recognize my individual rights are subject to some new limitations and responsibilities in the post-9/11 world.

Do you know what Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the terrorist operational mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, said when he was captured by the CIA? "I'll talk to you guys when you take me to New York and I can see my lawyer."

Sorry, fatso. No lawyers where your'e headed.

But if the liberal morons had their way, instead of Mohammed being sent to a CIA interrogation facility, he would be sitting in a US courtroom surrounded by ACLU lawyers filing motions about his civil rights violations. And untold hundreds, if not thousands, more Americans would be rotting in their graves having died in the terrorist plots that we failed to uncover.

Do we torture terrorists? Your goddamn right we do. We torture the fuck out of them. We take them to the brink, and then do it again and again and again. We string those fuckers out so thinly that they give it ALL up. They'd give up the souls of their children if they could by the time wer'e done with them. And after they're broken, we dress them up in orange jumpsuits and stick them in cages at Camp Gitmo, to live exactly like the filthy vermin they are.

That's how you win the war against terrorists. It's all about intelligence.
