how bout eddie changing it up on the next tour for the solo spot?

i'd like to hear him do "respect the wind" and have alex and mikey jam it up with him on that..just keep the spotlight on ed, then let him do his solo thing.

yeah, yeah. i can dig it

For one thing, how about if he tours again.
As for the solo, if he does something different, that would be fine with me. If he doesn't, that would be fine also. I amazed every single time I hear his solo so either way, it doesn't matter to me.

I'd be happy if he bagged the separate solo. I'd love if he took a couple of songs and extended out the solo for those songs, like, what was it, Summer Nights, from Live Without a Net?

I know they on some tour would do a little extended 3 piece jam to Pleasure Dome, that would be cool to see them do something like that and let Ed go nuts.

I'd rather see him do either of those than the same old same old he's been doing for years.

I liked how they stuck Ed's solo in the middle of "Year To The Day" on the III tour. Probably one of the more listenable songs on the album, but having all the classic EVH solos incorporated made it better.

I agree I'd love to see Respect the Wind, let's just hope there is a SOLO AND TOUR next year.

here is my view on it, I think it's more than a solo, I think it's actually becomce a song in itself persay, and so I wouldn't ask Ed to change "panama" see where I'm coming from ?
just my point of view.

I like the jam idea too. They could do the same thing for Al's drum solo.

I understand that Mike's bass solo was scrapped on the III tour -- one of the band's few good moves in the last several years, in my opinion.
