    It was in the new GuitarOne mag (page 88). Converts your standard Strat into a double locking 'Floyd' system. Pop the corian nut out, glue their nut in and change the bridge. No drilling. Looks like there is also a shim to put in the neck pocket.

    Now why didn't I think of this 20 years ago? I would be a millionaire now (Fender would have bought me out).

    BTW- Have you noticed GuitarOne's new format? About 2 interviews and the rest of the magazine is all tips, lessons, and gear reviews. Kind of weird.

    The concept is very cool but if its made of aluminum, then I'd beware. Vintage Floyd Rose units were made of brass and that (along with mounting the unit against the body in a non-floating manner) gave the Floyd some nice tone/sustain properties. The bridge needs to have MASS and a strong physical connection to the body to have nice tone.
