Here's a collection of all the vids so far on YouTube from Eddie's appearance:

Eddie looks and sounds fairly coherent. I find it funny that they show the replicas in picture frames as if they are expensive painting(s), much like I suggested they are (and who they'd appeal to). It's almost a challenge to pickj out all his old snippets from various solo pieces he's played over the years in that short performance. Best part is that he's stuck without the fuckin' sustainer playing that guitar.

I gotta say it was nice to hear the original Ed sound. It sounded raw with teeth but I couldn't stop listening to it. Ed can still play. I think he just went in the wrong direction with his sound for awhile. Before I heard him play I thought there was no way I'd be caught dead with an EVH wanabe guitar. But I liked the sound.

On the negative side, the rest of the vids are hard to watch. I hate to say it but Ed is like a toxic waste area with that ciggarette hanging from his mouth all the time. Quitiing might help with his unusual behavior. It apears to be a anxiety or tension. Smoking amplifies that stuff 10 times.

That sounded pretty good to me. Of course he's hard to understand at times, wouldn't any of us sound that way if we lost part of our tongue?

Is the "tip of the icecube" comment about the Fender/EVH partnership?

I'm no musician, but that sounded great to me. Loved the tone, and he played great. I caught the "Hot For Teacher" intro in there.- sounded. He hasn't lost a fucking thing in my opinion
Wolfie is not Mike, but he's more than ok.
Mike is gone, but not forgotten. They played some amazing shows from 2007-2015; some people are in denial about it.

It made me really happy to hear Eddie Van Halen play like that again. I was worried I would never hear him sound that good again. In that short video he captured that sound that I've been hoping to hear for a long time.
Now comes my favorite part of the show. It's my favorite part of the whole evening. We've been on tour since March and I have no better time anytime then right now because I get to go sit down, have myself a nice cold one and listen to the greatest rock n'roll guitar player in the world. Mr. Eddie Van Halen. - Sammy Hagar

Loved the videos. I wish I could have heard him pick a bit more to really see where his chops are at but he seemed to be pretty on.

He seems happy and in a lot better shape then when he was at the last NAMM.

I like the tone. Its amazing that there was about 75k of guitars in the background.
